The Daily Shoot #275: Make a photograph that features a sign of some sort today. Maybe a stop sign. Maybe an information sign. Or an advert.
“I really believe there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them.”

Thanks so much for your visits and comments. Have a great weekend.
The fantastic neon sign outside of Randles Court. A 1940s motor court located near Lake of the Ozarks in Eldon, Missouri.
I'm burnin', burnin'
'Cause you set my soul on fire
Weather, I don't know what I'll do
'Cause I'm burnin', I'm burnin'
I'm burnin' with desire
Yes, I'm burnin'
And it's all because of you ! :-)
....Toronto used to have many great neon signs, however in the last few decades many have disappeared & are now hard to find....

SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
Who doesn’t like a giant cow’s head with a crown atop it? I shot this some time back when I dropped off an old reciprocating saw for repair at the Makita Service Center nearby. When I brought it in, the repair tech was kind of pleased to see it—it's almost thirty years old and still in excellent condition. (I don’t use it much :-) I expected to leave it and come back another day, but he said, “Come back in a half hour.” I gave them a little more time, but when I returned a while later, it was all fixed. Not only that, he didn’t charge me for it! Good guys there.
