These old neon signs are great when you can find them, sadly the neon part no longer works, they've installed spot lights on top of it
One of my attempts at this weeks "Crazy Tuesday" theme "Signs"

McDonald's #10817 (4,240 square feet)
2000 Victory Boulevard, Williams Court I Shopping Center, Portsmouth, VA
Built and opened in 1988
This sign replaced the original "Billions and Billions Served" one sometime between 2008-2012.
Following on from yesterday's post 'Quebec', here is the finger post about a mile up the road, which points to Goose Green. That is a name that came to the fore, particularly in the UK, during the 1982 Falklands conflict, it being the site of a significant battle down there in the South Atlantic.
it seems that the Goose Green here, in West Sussex, is at best a hamlet, but some may say it is just the name of a lane or farm.
When I reached this spot, I thought I was at Quebec, but it seems this forms part of West Harting. Quebec is actually three cottages on a single plot of land according to a map published in 1912. At least two of the cottages survive, a third house is also there but looks quite different, so I'm unsure if it's a radical renovation or a newer build. One of the original cottages is advertised as a holiday let and apparently dates from the 18th Century.

Texaco sign at an abandoned service station ('local information, pop, snacks, gas') in Utah, USA, 1992.
A local hybrid seed maker in Keosauqua, IA. This is that part of Iowa called "Lapland". So called because a little flap of SE Iowa corn country 'laps' over NE Missouri.
This was taken at the Cincinnati Art Museum. For a short time they have some neon signs on display.
This sign used to be in Chicago at a furniture company.
Wonderful carved sign (dated 1618) over an even older doorway(1582) in Oude Doelenkade, Hoorn, Holland.
Obligatory photograph of the only remnant from Comiskey Park. The sign has been on the north side of W. 35th St. since at least the 1950s.
Outkast "Hey Ya" hand-painted sign. It says "What's cooler ... than being cool? ICE COLD. Alright alright alright alright alright alright alright alright."
One Shot on found wood, 27" in diameter. Make me an offer if you want it I'm really trying to get rid of things.
After a great soak up the road at Ojo Caliente Hot Springs, I went through Espanola on my way back to Santa Fe and my favorite sign in the world was lit up for its night's work. Saints & Sinners is a liquor store with tables inside. The owner, whose father designed the sign in the early 60s told me that the regulars like to "sit and have a drink..." There used to be a club room in the back, but it is just used for storage these days. There also used to be a drive-up window, but they've been outlawed in New Mexico, so that (thankfully) is a thing of the past. This is my favorite neon sign. Ever.
I missed the most recent Polaroid Week because of a big deadline.
So I've decided to have my own Polaroid Week. It starts today, with love.
Big.
