This A&W drive-in location in Ravenna, Ohio was opened on May 5th, 1956. This season was its 60th year of operation. Sometime over the years, A dining room was added to the drive-in. This A&W location still remains a seasonal operation today. This location has been upkept very well, seems pretty busy, has good food, and is more of a vintage A&W location.

When out and about in Tyneside the yellow and black cube shaped Metro signs indicate you are near the Metro system, this one is outside our local one Chillingham Road station in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne

This is at the site of the Pigroot hotel that was, on the Pigroot from Palmerston to Kyeburn, Otago, New Zealand. First fine day after the biggest snowfall in decades.

 

Took a trip to see the snow. We saw snow.

 

For those not local: New Zealand has spent the last week in a big low air pressure system that brought very cold air up from over Antarctica. This caused heavy snow to fall on inland areas of the South Island. And high winds, huge waves and heavy rain to many other places.
