I saw this crazy thing blowing away in the wind again. I've seen it a few times on the roof of Debenhams department store in the City centre yet this time I was further away and the sky was this spectacular colour. I just had to photograph him having a ball up there! :D
The sounds of autumn... it's a noise that you can feel as well as hear. Fantastic to see.

like watching the people you love enjoying life.
Georgia and Paige loved Moors Valley Country Park as they could run and jump wherever they wanted - they just loved the freedom. She was running alongside Phill shouting "I'm a winner!" as if she was racing. It was very funny to watch.

Even though the rut is now over, the sound of a bellowing stag is one that will stick around for some time! It's a sound that's so iconic even those who have never witnessed the spectacle of the rut will know what they are hearing.

ghar pe bol ke aye ho kya? Whatever might be the language but you might have heard this kind of shouting when you suddenly come across a vehicle by mistake. Or you might have shouted on some body when they run across your vehicle.
I was on the over bridge taking this shot and I heard train coming from the other side. Immediately I was gearing up for the right moment to shoot. Mean while I saw this girl so immersed in her doings next to railway track. I was little worried and I did hear the train driver honking multiple times. But this girl did not respond. I was little worried and at the last moment I clicked and moved on. How much you might be busy but can't one hear train honking also?
While reviewing the photos on the computer, there I saw the driver shouting at the girl / signaling her. Reminded me my 6 months stay at Mumbai during initial days of my career. There trains and life next to train tracks are just like that. Life goes on.
After fighting and shouting with the clouds and sun, luck was on my side. Here we have Class 20s no 20205 leading 20189,D8188 and D8057 and Class 46 no D182 as they are seen here running some 11 minutes behind schedule as they depart away from Derby. The train was the 0Z46 Derby to Wymondham Mid-Norfolk Railway convoy. Seen here on Thursday the 8th September 2016.
Excerpt from www.lecinqueterre.org/eng/arte/vernaantiochia.php:
Legend has it that in ancient times, a small wooden box was found along the coast of Vernazza, containing the bones of a finger of Santa Margherita's hand. After shouting the miracle, the inhabitants decided to build a church in honor of the Saint in the district called Isolotto. A strong storm, however, dispersed the relic and it appeared only some time later, exactly where it was first found. The Vernazzesi then built the church there, overlooking the sea, where it is today.
More prosaically, the church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia was built in the 13th century in the Gothic-Ligurian style by the Antelami Masters on a pre-existing Romanesque building. Mentioned for the first time in 1318, it stands on a rock overlooking the sea. The octagonal tower, 40 meters high, is crowned by small arches and ends with an ogival dome. Between 1500 and 1600 the church was enlarged, extending the hall by two bells per nave, to the detriment of the original medieval façade which was destroyed. In 1750, new works on the church led to the covering of the Romanesque interior with Baroque style coverings, also replacing the wooden roof with vaults and raising the bell tower. In more recent times, in the years 1964-1970, the church was partially restored with the original internal structure and recovering the exposed wooden roof.
The church has two entrances: the main one is more hidden and less easy to reach, and a more comfortable one, in one of the apses overlooking the tree-lined square in front of the marina, opened during the 19th century. The interior with three naves is raised above the level of the square. It houses two 17th century canvases, the Baroque high altar from 1750, an 18th century processional chest and a wooden crucifix attributed to Anton Maria Maragliano.

fortunately, it did not escalate. perhaps they were friends and were joking around, or i would have reported it immediately. more than anything, i was concerned for the child's safety.
As far as I am concerned, taking photographs is a means of understanding which cannot be separated from other means of visual expression. It is a way of shouting, of freeing oneself, not of proving or asserting one's own originality. It is a way of life.

Saw my first Swallows back about a week ago, lovely to see.
I was trying to catch them in flight this afternoon but they're a bit quick for me.
Pine Warbler. Shouting for joy because the feeders are full on this rainy winter day.

I went down to the shouting sea,
Taking Christopher down with me,
For Nurse had given us sixpence each-
And down we went to the beach.
We had sand in the eyes and the ears and the nose,
And sand in the hair, and sand-between-the-toes.
Whenever a good nor'wester blows,
Christopher is certain of
Sand-between-the-toes.
The sea was galloping grey and white;
Christopher clutched his sixpence tight;
We clambered over the humping sand-
And Christopher held my hand.
We had sand in the eyes and the ears and the nose,
And sand in the hair, and sand-between-the-toes.
Whenever a good nor'wester blows,
Christopher is certain of
Sand-between-the-toes.
There was a roaring in the sky;
The sea-gulls cried as they blew by;
We tried to talk, but had to shout-
Nobody else was out.
When we got home, we had sand in the hair,
In the eyes and the ears and everywhere;
Whenever a good nor'wester blows,
Christopher is found with
Sand-between-the-toes.
Procession moves on, the shouting is over
Praise to the glory of loved ones
now gone
Talking aloud as they sit
round their tables
Scattering flowers washed down by the rain
Stood by the gate at the foot of the garden
Watching them pass like clouds in the sky
Try to cry out in the heat of the moment
Possessed by a fury
that burns from inside
Cry like a child though
these years make me older
With children my time
is so wastefully spent
Burden to keep, though their
inner communion
Accept like a curse
an unlucky deal
Laid by the gate at the foot
of the garden
My view stretches out
from the fence to the wall
No words could explain,
no actions determine
Just watching the trees
and the leaves as they fall

Art, whether it is a painting, a song, a photo or a capture in a virtual world, is never finished, it is abandoned eventually and we only hope at the right time.
M. Wulumuqi Rd. & Changle Rd., Shanghai
As the night wore on, more and more police officers formed a human wall at the intersection of the blockade. A traffic policeman in the middle of the junction (the one on the left) grew increasingly brutal, shouting at the crowd to "back off" and forcing them onto the pavement so that police vehicles and trucks carrying roadblocks could enter. One onlooker said, "This man is so arrogant, and deserves to be hung from a street lamp."
Behind me, the crowd on the pavement was also mixed with a growing number of policemen and policewomen. They mouthed gentle words to persuade the crowd to leave, occasionally pushing and pulling with their hands. A voice behind me said, "Don't touch me! Can't I even stand here?"
However, the actual arrests were made late at night, after most of the people had gradually dispersed.
On the night of 26 November 2022, a demonstration took place in Middle Wulumuqi (Urumqi) Road, Shanghai in memory of the victims of the fire in Wulumuqi (Urumqi), Xinjiang, the casualties of which were caused by the building being locked up as a result of absurd anti-epidemic measures which made it impossible for residents to escape. The police ended up arresting many of the demonstrators and loading three police buses:

On the evening of the 27th, a large area of the neighbourhood where the demonstration took place last night was suddenly blocked off, allowing only people to leave and not enter, perhaps to prevent further demonstrations from gathering there.. A large number of people gathered at the intersections of the blocked-off neighbourhoods, which gradually festered into a new demonstration.
