Shift dress is a sleeveless short dress that hangs from the shoulders . It is designed for all body sizes and types, anyone are suitable to wear it. The dress can be customarily worn with stocking or worn alone. Although it is quite easy to move or to shift around in a white shift dress , it's name signifies a shift in 60' culture. When it was first become popular in late 50',America teenagers was as its height. Nowadays It still represent free, youthful and revolutionary attitudes.
I figured I would try my hand at some photo manipulation. I don't think I did too well, but this was the only photo I had that would fit as a good choice for the technique.
A full triangle indicates high and an empty one indicates low. We had to pedal hard, but five speeds were enough to get us up the steepest seattle hills.

I tried to implement multi-scale mean shift segmentation in Vigra, but something didn't quite work out. There is a strong directional bias that i can't quite explain.
Ironic take on "fake tilt shift". So fake that the optical axis is not even tilted relative to the picture plane. You guessed it, it is a model (duh). Some extra blurring was added at the front to narrow the depth of field further, making it a true fake. Smiling boss and colleague inserted to liven up the picture. The map position points to the position of the model in the Karlavägen 100 foyer. Had the picture shown the actual building, it would have been taken from a few stories up in a residential building off Banérgatan, about 100 m east of the map point. The clouds formerly resided over the Croatian island of Cres in 2004 and were taken from a holidy snap, overlayed with a gradient for that "Cokin creative filter ad" effect. All done in Micrografx Picture Publisher 8 (if it works, why replace it?).
3Plex kent drie shifts. Voor de eerste shift komen designer Joost Alferink (WAACS Design & Consultancy), architect Theo Deutinger (TD*) en kunstenaar Suchan Kinoshita naar Groningen. Ze krijgen de opdracht om elk een bar te ontwerpen en krijgen daarvoor exact dezelfde tijd en exact hetzelfde materiaal. Hun bouwperiode start op 6 september en eindigt precies tien dagen later. Als de tijd verstreken is, worden de bars feestelijk opengesteld voor publiek en worden ze twee weken tentoongesteld.
Over de ontwerpers van de eerste shift:
Theo Deutinger startte onlangs zijn eigen bureau: TD*. Daarvoor was hij een aantal
jaren werkzaam voor Rem Koolhaas’ AMO, de onderzoeksafdeling van OMA. Hoewel ook bouwend, is TD* vooral een conceptueel denkend bureau dat zich toelegt op de combinatie strategie, architectuur en media. TD* hecht aan de geografische, historische en politieke context en acht dit belangrijker dan schaal. Als conceptdenker publiceert hij
geregeld in Vrij Nederland.
Suchan Kinoshita (Tokio, 1960) houdt zich internationaal bezig met tal van
grensgebieden: binnen en buiten de muren van het museum, met of zonder een actieve inbreng van het publiek, herkenbaar als kunstwerk of gecamoufleerd. Kinoshita stript
gewone, dagelijkse voorwerpen, vaak uitgewerkt in simpele bouwmaterialen, van hun traditionele identiteit om zodoende de kijker bewust te laten worden van hun alledaagse beslommeringen als iets nieuws te laten ervaren. In 2003 besteedde het
vooraanstaande Museum van Hedendaagse Kunsten in Antwerpen (MuHKA) in een grote overzichtstentoonstelling aandacht aan het werk van Kinoshita. Joost Alferink (WAACS Design & Consultancy) gaat niet uit van een vaste
vakopvatting, maar van wat een opdrachtgever voelt en doet. Emotie is hun katalysator.
Volgens deze internationaal opererende product designer moet een designer alles kunnen maken. Van koffiemachines (bijvoorbeeld de Senseo) tot inrichtingsconcepten.
I have a real tilt shift lens in the works, but unfortunately i didnt have it done before this shoot (thanks to amazon taking forever to get my 3d printer filament shipped!) and the weather crapped out on us all day. Thats okay though because where real life cant prevail a bit of time in Photoshop certainly can :)

Over 5,000 young climate leaders joined AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, Cherri Foytlin of Gulf Change, and 350.org co-founder Bill McKibben at a polluter protest in front of the White House this Monday. They demanded that the President and Congress stand up to Big Polluters, protect the Clean Air Act, and make corporate polluters like BP pay for their pollution.
