Was about to take some pictures of a Retro Swimsuit Contest, looked into this car and saw this killer welded chain shifter with paint cans for a knob.
Nick from Saint Cloud Cycles in Fitzroy build up my Concorde Squadra with Campagnolo Chorus 11, Campagnolo Zonda G3 wheels, Fizik 2mm tape, 3TTT stem, and more good stuff!
Dissection of a Suntour Power Ratchet Bar End Shifter, 25 October 2008.
One is missing a Phillips-head screw. Both are missing lock nuts, and one has a flat-head screw (through the existing hex nut) that is too short.
The crew makes some passes to shift out interchange cars so they can be in customer order for later on.
Yesterday I went out looking to take some pictures that I could try and turn into fake miniatures by using a Tilt Shift technique in Photoshop. This is my first try, it's a shot of Slussen in Stockholm, you can view the original here.
To really admire the technique you need to view the large version by entering into Slideshow mode, or you can follow the link bellow to my blog and click on the picture there to see a larger version.
With the red corduroy underbust corset and the Elizabethan shift, I've got the beginnings of a pirate queen outfit.

I've been playing around with the Tilt-Shift-Maker (tiltshiftmaker.com/) on some of my pictures. The tool is kind of nice, but the quaility of the tiltshift photos is not that good. This shot is a view from rome, made from the top of Castel Sant’Angelo.

Hard to believe this 11 coach train is not a regional express but just a 'paddy' train. On the Shuangyashan colliery system a QJ passes the loco works on the outskirts of Dongjing in January 2002. Note the fireman has full boiler pressure for the climb ahead.
This picture was taken on Fuji ISO 400 as my ISO 100 camera had chosen a bad time to freeze up!
This is part of the Hydrowave Shifter of the Neo Shifter toy series. It's a birthday gift to my son. This thing is just one inch tall.
I saw the photo of the tail guns of the Lancaster and thought of this photomanip right off. The title is based on the fact that the British bombed at night while the US ruled the day.

Test for 3D crossview pictures. Here only a normal shift is used (near 12mm). But this can not be done by 2 cameras the same time. there is no room to place the cameras.
