Another young adult female, this gorgeous black cat is a bit shy but not skittish. She checked us out from a distance first few times we came over (letting us pet her if we didn't approach too quickly), but now she just watches us from the sofa, usually curled up with Fuzzy, and presents her head for petting with no problems. She is most likely intact, and she has her front claws. Apparently a sibling to Lucky, she was one of Kit Kat's kittens, and is only about 1 year old.

We will ask the adopter to sign a simple contract before finalizing just to ensure these cats are getting the same or better home than what they have now.
Sheba is available for adoption in Northern Virginia, USA, through HART .
Sheba was rescued from a rural kill shelter with her tiny kittens. She is a small girl with a very sweet personality.
She's the most talkative Borzoi I have EVER met. She barks, howls, yowls, groans moans and otherwise sets up a ruckus every chance she gets.

common colloquial usage in the UK (and USA) is to poke fun at another person who has dressed up fancily, or has perhaps displayed superior behavioral traits, resulting in someone remarking, "Who does she think she is, The Queen of Sheba?".
Yea, well, she's MY little Queen indeed!
Sheba watching Belle run as if she were taking lessons, but I think it was more fear of being trampled--Belle is INTENSE, and Sheba is too when she's not crowded out.
I never knew how much fun a collapsible fiberglass fishing pole and some plastic Wal-Mart bags could be until I started owning Borzoi.

The Waimea Shorebreak of Arabia, Sheba's Wedge in Yemen. This place breaks in 4 feet of water. The nearest town is half a day's drive away. The nearest hospital is 5 days drive. There are snakes, scorpions, wild dogs, 130F temperatures and men with guns. Al Qaida are supposedly in the area.
It's a fun break though - apparently I'm behind that lip on the right, you can just see my hand on the biggest version.
There's a number of striped Neoregelia bromeliads; these are pink enough to perhaps more likely be 'Sheba' than 'Bossa Nova'. These plants were moved to this location four weeks ago, and seem to be doing well despite afternoon sun.
A long time has passed since the photo. The site is partly taken up by a firebush that showed up more or less on its own, and the Neoregelias proliferate. I've never seen them flower.
