Been having to get a little creative as I haven't had the opportunity to visit many landscape areas lately.

The stone circle at Castlerigg is situated near Keswick in Cumbria, North West England. One of around 1,300 stone circles in the British Isles and Brittany, it was constructed as a part of a megalithic tradition that lasted from 3,300 to 900 BC, during the Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Ages,

The sunrise this morning from Sharp Edge looking towards Scales Tarn and the Eden Valley. I've been to this location on a few occasions for sunrise but have never been completely satisfied with the results. That all changed today. I don't think I've ever said this about a sunrise before (and I've photographed a few stunners) but this one was just PERFECT in every sense of the word. The conditions were ideal - the rocks were completely dry underfoot, there wasn't a breath of wind, and the temperature was adequate in just a t-shirt. And to top it all of the light was just incredible. It only lasted for a few minutes, but those minutes were some of the finest I've ever witnessed.

As I continue my very early walk up the mountain side to the top of Loughrigg Fell this is the View over Crasmere River Rothay it's on my right hand side, The colour in the sky is as it was NO enhancement by me it really was this colour. Quobba Blow Holes - Western Australia

Powerful ocean swells force water through sea caves and up out of narrow holes in the rocks, jets of water erupt into the air, sometimes up to a height of 20 metres, creating a spectacular sight.

With a bit of patience and a wet back, you can also photograph the rainbow along with a lighthouse in the background. Picture below in the comment field.

A very pleasant airy route up Blencathra, but avoid in bad weather ie. very wet very windy or very icy. Bit of an accident black spot!

The Cheese slicer - Ostehøvel (Norwegian)

A cheese slicer is used usually to cut semi-hard and hard cheeses. It produces thin, even slices. There are different styles of cheese slicers, designed for cheeses of varying hardness. A cheese slicer can be also used for slicing cold butter, zucchini, cucumber or cabbage.

Ostehøvel, a modern cheese slicer or cheese plane, was invented by Thor Bjørklund in 1925 in Norway. Mass production of the Ostehøvel cheese slicer started during 1927 in Lillehammer, Norway. The design was based on the carpenter's plane. This style of slicer is very common in the Nordic countries, and in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
