It seems like a lot people are let down by the phony documentaries that Discovery has decided to run with during Shark Week, so here's a shot of a real-life male great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) off the coast of Mexico's Isla de Guadalupe.
Unlike the 40' "Submarine" shark and the extinct C. Megalodon, this guy is the real deal.
It is SHARK WEEK so I will be posting some of my shots from my Guadalupe Mexico Trip. It was a 5 Day trip 30 hours out into the Pacific Ocean to a remote feed ground. You can get the story behind the images here bit.ly/davey05 #sharkweek #whiteshark

I was surprised to see this brave/stupid seal arrive until I watched it easily out manoeuvre the white sharks. It seemed to take pleasure in taunting them. This young white shark was definitely interested. Story behind the images here bit.ly/davey05 #Sharkweek # sharks #whiteshark
Jaws Movie Poster - UPDATED
I tweaked the top of the 'W' and replaced the two red 2x2 tiles with two red 1x3 tiles, to smooth out the top of the 'W'. After some feedback about the nose, I made Bruce the Shark one brick deeper, this meant that the nose now no longer juts out over his top lip.
A massive inflatable Great White Shark (in 5 pieces!) adorns the Discovery Channel headquarters building in downtown Silver Spring, MD to promote Shark Week.
