This one has been in service at the BOH Tea plantation factory since the turn of the 20th century. A hundred years on, and it's still rolling!
Further proof that things now sure aren't built the way they used to...

This is my first roll with the C3. It came out with hailstone-sized grain, and I'm not sure if the problem is (1) the camera somehow abusing the film; (2) the film (Shanghai GP3 expired Aug 2008); or (3) some error by the lab, whether in processing or scanning.
UPDATE: I think the backing paper may have imprinted on the film. It happened to other people! I'm not alone!

I got a chance yesterday to take my Kiev 88 out with my Jupiter 36 250mm lens. This is a pretty heavy kit to be carrying around shooting hand held, but it was so nice out I figured it was worth trying. This lens REALLY flares bad in bright light, so much so that I am not sure how much I can use it. For the price its still a good deal, I will just have to try to keep my shots under control.

I'm not sure whether this is a de Havilland Dash 7 or an ATR 72. Pretty sure one of my Flickr contacts can enlighten me :D

"Shorelines" series ...
This time I developed the Shanghai in Rodinal 1:200 for 2 hours, 1 minute gentle agitation followed by one turn on every 30 minutes.
If I compare the negatives from this roll to the recent roll of Shanghai I souped in HC-110, I think I would have to say that I am leaning towards the HC-110.
Why ... the HC-110 seems to offer a nice transition of tones and the grain seems to be very tight with the HC-110. With this roll, I also seemed to get a bit of uneven development with the Rodinal 1:200

Fantasia is a traditional exhibition of horsemanship performed during cultural festivals and celebrations in Morocco. The performance consists of a group of horse riders, all wearing traditional clothes, who charge along a straight path at the same speed so as to form a line, and then at the end of the charge fire into the sky using old muskets or muzzle-loading rifles - Mamiya 7ii, 43mm lens, Shanghai GP3 100, 120 film

Shocking really. Hopefully once i'm paid I can get the three rolls of colour I've taken over the last couple of weeks done and there'll be something new to show.
