I got a chance yesterday to take my Kiev 88 out with my Jupiter 36 250mm lens. This is a pretty heavy kit to be carrying around shooting hand held, but it was so nice out I figured it was worth trying. This lens REALLY flares bad in bright light, so much so that I am not sure how much I can use it. For the price its still a good deal, I will just have to try to keep my shots under control.

I'm not sure whether this is a de Havilland Dash 7 or an ATR 72. Pretty sure one of my Flickr contacts can enlighten me :D

"Shorelines" series ...
This time I developed the Shanghai in Rodinal 1:200 for 2 hours, 1 minute gentle agitation followed by one turn on every 30 minutes.
If I compare the negatives from this roll to the recent roll of Shanghai I souped in HC-110, I think I would have to say that I am leaning towards the HC-110.
Why ... the HC-110 seems to offer a nice transition of tones and the grain seems to be very tight with the HC-110. With this roll, I also seemed to get a bit of uneven development with the Rodinal 1:200
What do you think ?

Fantasia is a traditional exhibition of horsemanship performed during cultural festivals and celebrations in Morocco. The performance consists of a group of horse riders, all wearing traditional clothes, who charge along a straight path at the same speed so as to form a line, and then at the end of the charge fire into the sky using old muskets or muzzle-loading rifles - Mamiya 7ii, 43mm lens, Shanghai GP3 100, 120 film

Shocking really. Hopefully once i'm paid I can get the three rolls of colour I've taken over the last couple of weeks done and there'll be something new to show.
