This is the story of the traveling tea set :D
Once upon a time, there was an ebayer named S.
S was feeling a little down so she decided to treat herself to some miniatures.
Looking for that "last-second-bidding high", S decided to snipe a cute little red tea set. She won and did a little happy dance.
A couple of weeks later, S got a letter from the Customs wolves, saying they had kidnapped her little red tea set, and asked for US$70 to release it.
S felt doomed.
She tried to explain Mr. Customs Wolf, her tea set was not worth US$140.. but HK$140, therefore it was not subject to kidnapping fees. But Mr. Custom Wolf did not believe her.
So he sent the cute little red tea set back to grandma in Hong Kong and S went home empty handed and sad.
Grandma in Hong Kong told S "Don't worry dear, I will send your little red tea set back and will put in big letters "US$" this time".
So HK grandma packed the little red tea set nicely .. and sent it all the way back from Hong Kong to Argentina.
"Careful with the bad Custom wolves" she said.
And Little red tea set arrived today, safe and sound.
It made S very happy.

Lesson of this story: Sniping is bad. It offends the ebay fairy. Be good and don't snipe :)

Here we have a table we created out of original 1950s vintage table legs and a new, raw, mango-wood top. A great combination that has modern appeal paired with vintage charm. Around the table are a set of original 1950s/1960s chairs which we have re-covered in cream PVC. Very comfortable, very stylish. tackle and set of chairs selling separately.

I am currently working on packaging for these. I should have pictures of the complete set next week.
So according to Gary's scheme this is mursten set 700/3A. Sorry it is not squared, or Gary-ized yet, but it is almost complete. The slotted windows have no glass. Inserts are missing, apart from the small rectangle where the windows are supposed to go. This is fixed to the box. Box lid repaired with tape (not by me of course...).

Capability Set 13 (CS 13) is the first fully-integrated suite of network components fielded out of the Army's new Agile Process. CS 13 delivers an unprecedented integrated network solution capable of supporting mission command requirements for the full range of Army operations, and an integrated voice and data capability throughout the entire Brigade Combat Team formation.
CS 13 addresses 11 critical Operational Need Statements, giving commanders and Soldiers vastly increased abilities to communicate and share information. Enhancements include Mission Command on the Move, allowing leaders access to network capabilities found in TOCs while mounted in vehicles, and delivering the network to Soldiers at the squad level. CS13 is under System of Systems Integration.

Final set from a few hours spent at slimbridge with my mate Rod Holbrook.
Original plan was to photograph the Bittern that were showing well but due to there depature 5 mins before we arrived at the hide and only have`ing a few hrs good light we decided to target Lapwings and Pintails!
The Pintail is such a smart looking and elegant bird!

Set your goals @ Far i hatten, in Malmö, Sweden.
Extra info: After the cancelation of the Stockholm show three of the four bands decided to do a free show in Malmö instead. The place ended up being Fat i hatten which is normally a place where old people come to dance and it was in the middle of an amusement park filled with families and children. It couldn't be a more unfitting but PERFECT setting for this.
There will be another set next to it, possibly with an alley- you can see the next foamcore next to it. I have designed this set so it will fit in front of the chest of drawers that McDonald's sits on, the One Sixth Scale dollhouse is to the left with the bottom room and garage unfinished.
This is one of two sets that I made for Classic Castle's Chess Challenge. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
Thank you very much Mom for buying us our fabulous deck set! I know we were able to enjoy some days out on it when you were here, and one day, once the weather gets nice again, we'll be back out! :)
Continuing my fun assignment of capturing a photo of each of my children in a fashion non-typical to the generic school photo's, here is an image of my 'clone' ... my eldest son, Ernie (jr).
As time is moving too fast for me, I couldn't set up the environmental shot I had envisioned with he & his snowboard in a fancy sunset ... so I settled for a quick in-house studio set with ambient light and his snowboard reflecting in his eyes ;)
Will find time later this week to finalize the last photo's I've taken already of my lovely daughter ...
