A real classic (like me)
This old radio may be slightly older than me. Its pretty dirty and the post office battered it during transit. It made a loud snapping noise when I plugged it in. I will make an attempt to bring it back to life

With the first pour of asphalt in place, the crew is ready to begin paving. Maintenance tech Brian Kendall must multi-task. He's driving the paver, and keeping it in line, while pushing the big asphalt truck in front of him. His only guide for steering is the edge of the road. He's also monitoring the speed and must also watch for any overhead trees or wires that could get hung up on the asphalt truck.
I finally have my own set of the most important utensils for tea ceremony, which means I don't have to borrow these during the lessons and I can also practice a few things at home (like fukusa-sabaki etc) :)
Bought at japanese Amazon
Lots of fun with lighting this morning. I am starting to get the hang of the lighting triangle. The lesson I was following from Lighting: Science and Magic was related to the size of the light source. When I didn't use a diffuser, I got a really nice soft image, with no shadows. I wanted to revisit my shot yesterday and get some shadows, so I shot this with the bare strobe.
