I did not expect to see this set to be an overstock sale. I could have save a whole lot of money if i'd just waited a bit longer. But with prices like this, it's hard not to get an extra pair without breaking the bank !!!
Regular Prices $79.99
Sale Prices $ 59.99
TM Prices $39.99 and with no shipping. Pretty sweet !!!;-D!!!
My first set of coasters and my first attempt at quilting. It was much easier than I'd expected. I did these in 3 Sisters' Roman Holiday, as a Christmas gift for my MIL (they match the napkins I made her for her birthday), but I'm not sure I'll be giving them to her. As it turns out, I wasn't very careful measuring/cutting, because they're not square, and they're not the same size as each other. They look a little nuts when they're stacked. I used the instructions in Joelle Hoverson's Last Minute Patchwork & Quilted Gifts.
Swing set in fair to good condition, well made, very secure. NO CEMENT NEEDED -You pick up and haul- $50.00
this film was in poor condition anything important ill try a wet scan on if u let me know with in a few days
I finally have my own set of the most important utensils for tea ceremony, which means I don't have to borrow these during the lessons and I can also practice a few things at home (like fukusa-sabaki etc) :)

Went to the Wattle Festival in Hurstbridge yesterday. Parked up the Mid-Hurst end of Hurstbridge thinking the traffic would be easier. Got there late so it wasn't.
Fire station
First stop the new Fire station. Must admit I hadn't seen this before so popped inside to check out the kit. Got sized up by a large overall clad Koala. The overalls are clean meaning they have been re-certified and re-issued. With the flash on you can see the HiViz markings on the overalls. Later on went past the old fire station down the road about 300m.
Fete
Walked past the fire station and the school to the Fete. Not that many people there.
Brock
Got a bit of a surprise in an old garage just down from the old fire station. Brocks Austin7. I hadn't seen his old paddock bomb since 2006 when I last went Hurstbridge to Brocks big day out. There it was all cleaned-up. Compared to last time it's magic. According to some old car nuts later on in the day the paddock bomb was in the process of being auctioned for the Peter Brock Foundation for $200,000. A museum in Queensland made an offer for $150K. So it's off to Brisbane. This is unconfirmed.
Saddlery & Produce store
Went past the Produce store. They all seem to have the same grainy-hay smell.
Main St
Walking near the round-about. The service station you see is the Brocks old station. I took some photos of the plaque later on but it's probably more famous as a local landmark for being hit by cars more than anything.
Iron Horse
I didn't expect the steam engine to be still running by the time I got there. So seeing it and taking some photos was a bonus. This train is K Class, the K153 from SteamRail ran from the Williamstown to the city to Diamond Creek and running shuttle all day to Hurstbridge. It reminds me a bit of J-516 that used to be in a Greensborough park. J-516 was later to be moved to Healsville for restoration. I've still got a steel, brass handled part of J-516 that dropped off the train as it was delivered. A remnant of the day I saw it plinthed.
Walked over to the oval. I helped plant all the gums you see in the background when I worked for ESC. Now I know where the cars are coming from. They're leaving from here. So what's left? Well the best, Holden Monaro HT's. The other cars, Lincoln-Mercury car club I happen to see in the future at the Diamond Creek Town Fair. It's the Holdens I've come to see.
