Here's to more nights with little to no sleep as the race against time begins. I hope I'll be okay this semester as I continue working on Phantasmagoria, the worlds are difficult and tedious to create, I am wishing for the best.

Also, I'm taking an oil painting elective, I really suck at painting but graphic novel was fully taken :/ Doesn't matter, I'll be learning something new!

I was asked to participate as a sponsor for the National Blythe Meet in Australia.

The theme was Circus, which I love!

I used the smock pattern and draw a very quick pattern for the dress skirt, used a petitcoat pattern for the skirt and tulle underskirt. It was almost all done in a day, except for the hoodie. After a long run of bad luck at sewing, I had the perfect sewing day at last! Couldn't have hoped for a better result.

I would love to make some more! :)

Earlier in the year, I bought a bunch of "stuff" at the auction we frequent. There were pieces of a little canopy bed, made by The House of Miniatures that I thought was worth a try putting back together. Let me just say that miniatures in ANY sense of the word are difficult and fiddly things! But I learned a lot and managed it! Ken was terrified to see me drilling with the tiniest bit he had!

The original tiny mattress and canopy were an old and dirty fabric. I happened to have one little bit of a vintage fabric that I thought was perfect for the mattress cover, and managed to make a pillow with the remainder. The tiny coverlet here is a dainty vintage lady's handkerchief, and the canopy is a vintage doily.

This is a dinette set that my boyfriend bought me for Valentine's Day a couple years ago. I saw this table at an antique store and fell in love with it. This is what got me into collecting retro and vintage things. Of course I put my cat, Diego, on the floor about 3 times trying to take this picture, but he wouldn't stay put, so there he is.
