(W83NDW) 2000 Optare Solo of Z&S Travel and (L886SDY) 1993 Alexander bodied Mercedes 709D of Star Travel both seen parked in Aylesbury bus station in early 2015.
On the county lanes near the Venturer Coachways depot in Debach (Suffolk) is this 1983 Leyland Tiger TRCTL11/2R East Lancs EL2000 (WPH135Y) new to London Country TL51 with ECW B51 body. Previously operated for Hedingham & District L148. The bus is now preserved and can see occasional use on the companys school contracts.
Pictured in the sunshine is this beige 1986 Toyota Starlet EP70 (D61WPM) a very original, excellent condition example of very few left registered in the UK.
Borrowed this dress from my best friend, Ariyana. It's quite cute! I went out to a club last night, here in Toronto. Again, these pics were taken at 2 a.m., so please don't mind the scraggly hair! Cheers everyone!

Leaves.
I posted a shot for Sliders Sunday last week. It was one of a set of variations on the theme all based on one original picture.
I didn’t have time to publish the rest at the time so I’ll do it now, in case it interests anyone.
The fun for me is in creating these different endpoints and seeing which ones work and which don’t. It’s always interesting to hear which you prefer too as that often surprises me.
The original image is linked in the first comment. I did about ten variants in all but I’ll only share the ones that I like for some reason or the other.
I’ve been going to A MFA self-help group (Mirror Filterers Anonymous) in recent months. They’re a friendly bunch and have helped me control my addiction. Sadly I shall have to admit to them my lapse - they will not be pleased :(
Don’t you just like the organic textures and leaves? (No obligation to say yes!) This reminds me of beetle exoskeletons for some reason :)

[This one was made from the B&W version with a twofold mirror filter in Afinity Photo and dragging the cursor (origin) around in the image to find something interesting. I like the whole leaves in it though another version uncovered some moths!]
Happy Holidays-The Grinch meets Frosty
We had the windy chill against us, lucky for me I have a dedicated partner who picked up my slack in the 25th hour when I just about gave in to the cold. All in all a fun little production and happy with the results despite some of the challenges. Happy Holidays to yah all and to a new year of goodness that awaits us all.
L116HHV a 1993 Northern Counties Paladin bodied (Step entrance) Dennis Dart is seen in Towersey village whilst operating service 120 to Thame. The vehicle has seen some recent uses in public service in various areas and this is not the first time this vehicle has operated on this route, back in the summer of 2015 it was used as an emergency replacement. Vale Travel use this vehicle on tuesdays only due to higher capacity needed but is odd seeing the DDA enforcement has come into affect. Good to see it still in service and ignoring the pointless european regulations. The manual blind still partly displays Bletchely 24 hinting its recent uses in the Milton Keynes area.
Ayumi gets stuck in with the next stage of the Gone With the Wind set design and creation. In this diorama you can see the drinking straws and cable clips I will be using for drains and pipework and also a window frame which will be part of the build. When I can, I buy damaged windows in the bargain basement as these are less than half price and can easily be fixed with some superglue gel. I'm pretty pleased that Ayumi has decided to help me out with this project - I need all the help I can get!

Resting at a bus stop in Pitstone village is Preserved Mercedes 709D (N525AWB) seen reenacting long withdrawn Arriva rural service 64 from Tring high street to Aylesbury bus station via Ivinghoe & local villages. New to Dicksons travel in 1995.
During a pleasant visit to Little Austinmer, I crossed the main cascade gorge and headed further out onto the rock shelf, where I captured surges of water coming towards me as larger sets of waves pounded the edge of the rock shelf beyond.
Awaiting to depart outside the Luton Mall is Arriva the Shires & Essex (N39JPP 5139) a Northern Counties Volvo Olympian working route 25 to the Marsh Farm estate. New to Luton & District in 1996 now one of three sister vehicles left in service.
Awaiting at Buckinghma bus bus stand is Arriva the Shires & Essex (KL52CWD 6012. a ALX400 DAF DB250 seen having just worked route 60 from Aylesbury town centre via winslow. New to the Shires fleet in 2002 for TFL services at the Garston depot.

The Christ child is solid ivory.
The first of the refurbished 'Castle' HST sets, comprising HST power car No. 43093 'Old Oak Common HST Depot 1976-2018' + 49101 (ex-44055), 48111 (ex-42093), 48102 (ex-42177), 48101 (ex-42168) + HST power car No. 43016, commenced station operation testing on 19th March 2018 and is seen here, crossing St. Germans Viaduct, with the return run, 5Z46, the 15:02 Truro to Exeter St. Davids. The train was supposed to run through to Penzance, but planned engineering work meant the section west of Truro was closed between 19th and 22nd March.
It’s hard for my camera to capture Brown-headed nuthatches. To make this shot presentable, I used Topaz Studio’s fur and feathers plug-in.
