“New Beginnings”
I moved to Burien five months ago and I am very honored, and grateful to have the opportunity to introduce my self to you, my new community, here at the Burien Community Center. All the work that you see has been inspired by my new surrounds; especially the yard. It has been a long time dream of mine to have one and its presence fills up my life.
So much so, that it spills out and into my studio, its walls, these walls and maybe your walls in the future.

Dumped to one side at a small site in Launton village is this Ford Transit Dormobile (L683GKE) that used to operate withnow ceased RH Transport Services, and is now disused and abandoned.
Leaving the Vale Travel yard on Gatehouse Way (Aylesbury) is (L116HHV) a Northern Counties bodied Dennis Dart seen on its way to work its usual afternoon school service from the Lord William lower school in Thame. New to MTL Travel in 1993.

An 8-car S Set suburban train (S19/S?) with a Bondi Junction service cross the Georges River between Como and Oatley. Although still on the suburban network in 2018, these venerable old trains no longer work the Illawarra lines.
This set of random images features Dannee in new costumes and a new companion – lovely and enigmatic lady Selina.
Here is a set I've built for a young animator/film student, mate of mine. Such a pleasure to work with such a talented and driven film maker.

Class 68 diesel-electric locomotive, number 68030 “Black Douglas” was captured at Platform 1 at Scarborough. The Spanish built TransPennine Express locomotive was ready to propel the 5 coach Nova 3 train set on 1U68 1648 hrs Scarborough to York. Visible in the background is the Westborough Methodist Church.

In an attempt to better illustrate the wideness and crazy distortion afforded by the Zero Image 45 pinhole, I've taken pics of the shot set-up and paired this with the final Zero Image product. Image left taken with the Diana 151, Rodinal stand developing. The image on the right is a paper negative taken with the Zero Image 45, Dektol developing.

Parked on a driveway in Wolverton Near Milton Keynes is former East Yorkshire Motor Services Leyland Olympian (K575RRH) now converted & in use as a childrens mobile play centre. New to EYMS as 575 in 1992.
One part of the memorial on Geschwister-Scholl-Platz in Munich. The brother and sister Scholl were at the forefront of the movement of students against the third reich. This memorial sets in stone copies of the leaflets that they threw in the air as they were arrested in February 1943.

I'm going to give my opinions on these sets real quick.
Superman/Lobo set:
That green kryptonite thingy looks cool but i could care less about it
Lobos Motorcycle looks amazing, definitely accurate and great looking.
as for Superman, he should've had dual molded legs, but whatever i'll just use Spider-man's legs.
Lobo looks amazing, that hairpiece is so perfect, would've liked to see some leg printing but it's understandable.
Krypton looks fine, but i'd would've rather seen another minifig.
8/10 over all for me, if it's 20-25 dollars i'll definitely be picking it up.
Reverse Flash/Killer Frost Set:
Both vehicles are random and i could care less for them.
Flash is weak, needs dual molded legs (like most of these figures)
i like getting a new cyborg although he's not as good looking as the others.
Killer Frost looks stupid, we could've gotten a wayyyyy better one):
Reverse flash looks great, but no dual molded legs of course
5/10 probably won't buy unless it's 30-35 dollars.
Cheetah/Firestorm set:
The mech is pretty nice, bigger as expected, not much about it.
I'm happy that i'll be able to add another completely useless bat vehicle to my collection, that's all i have to say about that. all of these sets also have great translucent pieces, in a fan of those.
Cheetah looks pretty good, she needs arm printing and maybe some leg printing, but good enough.
lex looks alright, nothing special, lack of leg printing kinda ruins it though.
Wonder woman looks pretty good, i'm just annoyed they still haven't added Bracers to her yet, but whatever.
batman looks cool, the new torso looks awesome, happy to see that, but something's missing, and it's not the cape hmm i wonder.
as for Firestorm, i'm alright with it i would've rather seen Ronnie though, also no dual molded legs god dammit.
8/10 will buy if 50-45 dollars

Experimental set up for scanning film. The results were quite shocking actually.
The fact that I can see grain structure is enough for me to rethink all the time wasted on the scanner to get it just right. I know other's doing wet scan techniques, or better holders for their scanners, but I might think that the way I have this set up might rival dedicated film scanners, maybe even an Imacon. However I can't get more than 23MP with this, the amount of detail I'm gaining in just the 23MP is impressive.
It also shows me the sharpness of the new EF 40mm Pancake is superb for macro photography.
What you see in this image is the 5Dmk3 with the 40mm pancake with a 12mm extensiontube attached to it (behind the lens hood). The barrels are just there to act more of a copy stand, with a secondary ring to hold the negative away from the iPad which is my lightsource.
I focused with F/6.3 as my aperture, and used EOS Utility to tether and capture. The hyperfocal distance was just enough to not resolve the retina display of my iPad.
