Ikea TV shelfy standy thing, on castors with surge protectors screwed to the sides. It makes it easier to spin around and re-cable the servers.
I upgraded the server to 2 SSDs (60 GB SSD for boot OS and 120 GB SSD for virtual machines), 2x5 TB Western Digital NAS HDDs for storage. Unfortunately, I only have 5 TBs of available storage since I am mirroring the drives.
Finally bought my Mini Server. Having all my drives in one place is so much more convenient.. Plus with OSX server things are just more interesting :P
My server had a little planned downtime, my server had to move to another rack and in the meantime I could swap some memory-modules...
One Mac, One Linux Box, One Gigabit Switch all connected to an Airport Express that is bridged to our Airport Express in the old office across the hall until Monday when SBC comes to move DSL.
finally, after two years of collecting parts, I'm building server number two this weekend.
...and Bates helps me with it! ^_^
