Even serialized which is interesting. This means that somewhere there's a record of the sale of this phone to a customer.
A USB-Serial adapter using a CH340G - bought off eBay and supplied with flying leads and bare board.
I decided I wanted something a little more reliable.
1st off I removed the USB plug from the PCB and wired in a USB plug on the end of a cable.
2nd was to remove the jumper lead header and wire in a PC keyboard/mouse PS-2 connector - however, this is NOT a lead from PS-2 keyboard/mouse as there are not enough wires in the connection. I bought from eBay a cheap PS-2 plug and wired in the required connections.
The PCBs this system connects to have PS-2 sockets soldered on which provides in system (re)programming.
The CH340G can be switched on the PCB between 3V3 and 5V outputs - this one is set for and left at 5V.

In this artwork, I wanna probe into the relationship between myself and the outsideworld. In this serial work, two pictures is one set.
In one set, one is myself, it could be the trauma of my body. The other is the outside world, it's always the blue sky or something bright etc. They seens to be totally different but if the audiences watch them carefully, they would find out that those two pictures seens to be a little resemble, althought one is beautiful and the other is ugly. The "resemblity" may be the "CONNECTION" bwtween the ugly things and the beautiful things and they are also myself and the outside world.
From what I can gather from Tom Marshall's research, the serial number indicates this frame was built for Centurion/Western States Industries in the 23rd or 24th week (12th fortnight, indicated by the letter L) of 1987.
There is no consensus on which manufacturer the "N" represents, though there are some who suggest Tano, the original maker of the very first Centurion LeMans bikes.
