Whilst trying to get set up to take pictures of an oncoming storm (after setting the pumps and throwing the hose ends over the berm - see the "flood" set for explanation) I triggered the shutter while trying to figure out what I was seeing on my LCD, which was behaving oddly.
No wonder. I had the lens pointed directly at the sun on a blazing hot, clear day.

I built this Wii sensor bar in the backyard the other day from 3/8" acrylic bar, and some other junk.

The running loop sensors are set into the path inside a custom built chamber.
When the weather warms, and the Macadam cures, the surface of the path will be coated with red running track paint. Two lanes will also be marked out.
