I was looking for Odonates in the Sensitive Ferns and spotted a little ball of spiderlings. I watched them for some time and they clambered about inside the safety of their fern nursery.
Early May. Sensitive Ferns were named because pioneers observed the ferns' tendency to die with the first frost. I've found them to be a hardy fern, easily spreading and crowding out other ferns. For me, the name seems more appropriate for its springtime unfurling.

Durga Puja (Worshiping Goddess Durga-- the symbol of Supreme Power) is the biggest religious festival of Bengali people all over the world. In autumn (usually in September-October) this festival is celebrated in grand manner. Temporary temples are constructed with light construction materials. The idols of Mother Goddess Durga with the idols of Her two sons & two daughters are placed inside the temporary temples & the PUJA (worship) is performed as per Hindu religious rights. Thousands of people visit the places. Different local committees set up different varieties of temporary temples & a healthy rivalry goes on between them to show off their artistic creations. This is such a temporary temple from the place where I live, & the local committee is called Marconi Avenue Committee. Here they've created a beautiful palace with Biodegradable materials (Eco-consciousness is IN nowdays!) like straw & the whole thing is exquisitely decorated with sea-shells. Awesome!
Here the interior of the temporary "palace" is shown with the idols on the far end.
Lutful Seaways Limited, the only GPLN member in Bangladesh, recently
completed UN project RFPS - 1473, handling of Bangladesh Air Force owned
contingent equipment in Bangladesh.
Lutful was appointed to handle this UN project from door, Dhaka, to the
seaport in Chittagong, Bangladesh, though the original destination of this
cargo was door, Bunia, Democratic Republic of Congo, through Mombasa port,
Kenya. Lutful was chosen because of their in depth knowledge and experience
in handling sensitive and large project cargo.
Lutful provided all four services for this project which included inland
transportation from door, Dhaka, to Chittagong, storage at BAF Zahurul Haque
Base, Chittagong, export customs clearance and shipping agency for the
loading vessel at Chittagong Port.
A total number of 82 packages were handled which consists of BAF trucks,
trailers, ambulance, jeep, generator, fuel tank, water tank, containers,
break bulk cargo, generators, sensitive cargo such as engine and propellers
of BAF C - 130
aircraft.
Lutful did bring all packages from BAF Maintenance Unit, Dhaka Cantonment to
BAF Zahurul Haque Base, Chittagong by carrying them all the way on suitable
trailers (as per UN conditions),all packages were stored at BAF Zahurul
Haque Base and after export customs clearance and survey, the packages were
loaded into the chartered vessel.
According to the Lutful Group Chairman, Lutful H. Chowdhury, "Over the years
we did handle project, heavy-lift, oversized and over weight cargo for the
oil & gas sector, power & energy, industry infrastructure, communications,
and turn key projects and even in military sector, but this is something we
are obviously proud of, contributing to the UN peace keeping mission through
Bangladesh Air Force. We are certainly looking forward to contribute more
as Bangladesh is holding number the one nation place in terms of number of
troops deployed by a single country in various UN peace keeping mission".
Further more, Mr. Karimul Haque, General Manager (Operations) added "This
was obviously a complicated operations since we had to bring all packages
all the way from Dhaka to Chittagong on trailers and had to take cautious
measures so that none of the packages were damaged during loading and
unloading operations and also during the inland transportation. We did take
special security and safety measures for the transportation of propellers
and engines of C-130 aircraft".
Mr. Robert Gomez, Branch Manager in Dhaka said "We involved nearly 67
personnel from both of our Chittagong and Dhaka offices and worked very hard
to complete a successful operation. We received full support and
co-operation from BAF personnel for which we are grateful to them."

Discovered by me in 2013. Ground dwelling spider, but will build it's burrow in dead tree trunks or inside of wall/rock crevices. After a fresh molt it shimmers blue. Very sensitive to vibrations, so one will not easily bump into one as they will immediately move back into their burrows.
My Sensitive Plant (Mimosa pudica) flowered over night, couldn't resist trying to get a macro shot of the flower. Wasn't coming out too well so I used my flash (a Jessops 360afd) off camera on a tripod with a stofen diffuser. I think it came out rather well!

Our Luxury Salt Spa Bars are a smooth stone of salt and soap that gently exfoliates as it cleans. Remove dry dead skin and get a clean like never before.
Although they don't feel "scrubby" when you use them, they do work and also add the benefits of salt.
Great for use as an acne soap as the salt is great for "drying" the oils on your face, these also make for a great foot scrub as well as a full body soap.
One wash with a Salt Spa Bar and you're hooked.
We have many customers who swear by our soaps for their sensitive skin, psoriasis, and eczema.
Ingredients: Distilled Water, Salt, Coconut Oil, Unrefined Organic Fair Trade Shea Butter, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Fragrance, Color
Average bar weight: 5.5 - 6 oz.
Maxie, the family pet. This picture was taken an hour or so after Grandma had been taken into hospital after suffering a stroke, he was full of concern. Grandma is home now, she's very frail but she's being well looked after.
