Nikon F5, Nikkor 24mm f2.8, orange filter, Svema (FPP) Blue Sensitive, Kodak Tmax developer.
Bought two rolls of this film to try, and this is the first. It is very, very thin, and doesn't make for much interest in the skies - youreally have to work for a dramatic sky - most of the rest of these exposures had flat, drab, pale skies. This one had pretty a dramatic sky to begin with, so it rendered pretty well I think.
This is a different angle of the 'Stairway' house. Beautiful bay window, but the whole structure is completely unroofed. Won't be around for much longer I think.
This film is exceptionally high contrast, and the ISO is only 6, so a tripod is required, It is ULTRA-fine grained though - you really have to zoom and zoom to see much grain. It's a near stock that I do believe I will use again. 5 minutes in Tmax developer, 1 minute wash in RODI, then a 5 minute fix.
The people who count a lot make us sensitive because we are not indifferent.😉

This tiny Powderpuff flower is all of 2 inches high. I got down on the gravelly street to take this picture with my iPhone.
An amazing structure. A globe of straight shiny stamens, each ending in a yellow pollen dot. The stem is a bit fuzzy but straight and sturdy despite it's small size. An elegant weed indeed!

Sensitive Plant (Mimosa pudica) (නිදිකුම්බා) is a creeping annual or perennial flowering plant of the pea/legume family Fabaceae. The compound leaves fold inward and droop when touched or shaken, defending themselves from harm, and re-open a few minutes later. It grows mostly in undisturbed shady areas, under trees or shrubs. The species is native to South America and Central America, but is now a pantropical weed.

So after spending a day in the Hofn area it was time to start heading back west to Reykjavik. It was cold and cloudy but we decided to check out the waterfall we could see in the distance and where that road went (see previous post). The cloudy weather was good for shooting waterfalls, and maybe with the cold less people. We bumped along in first gear all the way to a small parking area and started up the narrow trail. There was a lot of lumber all along the trail, so it looks like they're trying to improve the trial and areas were roped off(although some people just ignored the ropes and walked right through the sensitive ground cover) This was our first view of Hangandifoss and I liked how it was framed in the V of the canyon walls.
