We'd never seen one of these before going to our favorite farm (Atherton Farm in Buckland, MA) to buy veggie starts today.
If the plant is brushed, it closes in to protect itself. Sue totally sold us on it in about 1 second. It can live outside for the summer and come inside when it gets cold.

It's been so popular at work that I've had multiple requests for people to have their own. So yesterday I planted a new tray full of them, and I'll be passing them out to many friends at the office

There is an exhibit currently on(July 2009) at The Forks called Cancer Connections. Included are photos and descriptions of many peoples stories around their cancer experience. The purpose appears two fold both cancer awareness and fundraising. This is a touring display currently here in Winnipeg. Can be found next in Saint John, New Brunswick. Then followed by Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia and lastly Saint John's, Newfoundland.

The Spooky Tesla Spirit Radio is light sensitive...even to candle-light!
The light seems to put out ultra-low frequencies below audible range.
By raising the pitch very high in the Audio Hijack software, these sounds can be heard in the audible range!
This local man was as bemused as myself at this sign "Do not touch - Sensitive". I suppose they are not too sensitive to be dropped into boiling water!!!

those of you who do not know they are could have numerous health and psychologicval problems - especially in children. It's wise to find out what you can and cannot eat if you are not 100% healthy. Eating a diet only consiting of fruit and veg will not only help you - it will help the planet. Most of our waste and chemicals and pollution comes from the fact we eat a massivly rich diet in meat and livestock.
