When it's 4:35AM and you still can't sleep though it's been days, do what I do — set aside that panic attack, roll up your pajama sleeves & start mopping, moving furniture from room to room, wiping counters. Won't help at all but at least it means the paramedics won't have to deal with a messy living room — kind of like when your mom told you to always wear clean undies before going out, just in case you ever ended up in the E.R.
