And one lone face stares quietly out of the window, wondering.
What is to be my fate in this place, will I be or will I be not,
waiting.. wondering, questioning,
Should have been doing, wanting, needing,,,,time, the enemy,

Looking Close... on Friday: Jewellery (selective colour).
A hand-me-down necklace from my husband's Mother to his Sister & then to me to pass on to a Granddaughter. Maybe not valuable but a lovely connection to family past. Photographed in our Mulberry Bush: appropriate as David has fond memories of their Mulberry Bush when he was growing up.
First time I've tried two colours in the in-camera selective colour app.
… climate, hills, suspension bridge, trams … Lisbon and San Francisco now have another feature in common :-)
A classic ford tail lamp loaded with the style that only these eras of cars have.
Apart from the lamp itself I liked how the car in the reflection was positioned to match where its tail lamp would be also.

I hope you all have someone's hand to hold. Stay well my flickr friends ;o)
My good friend who has been around to hold my hand for about 33 years now. She popped in for a cuppa and a catch up this morning, when she sees this she'll tell me off for ruining the pic with my broken finger nail.... as all good friends do!
Saturday morning in Rundle Mall, Adelaide - the city centre main shopping street.
This very engaging street entertainer was getting some kids to hand out flowers to the audience.
When it's raining in December, and the countryside is alive with shades of brown, when even the grass appears to be yet another shade of brown, the overall impression is one of boring drabness. If one wakes in the morning with the blues, it tends not to get any brighter! Thank heavens for a red car!
Musicians in a parade along Reading, Berkshire, for an illuminations and arts festival (might have been called "White Night", after Reading University's Whiteknights campus).
Slow shutter image with rear-curtain flash and a selective colour applied in post. Taken with a Nikon D40 and a Nikkor AFS DX 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G II lens, and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.
