John Lewis was the design-engineer, effectively the designer of the Ord River Diversion Dam. In the early 1960s John Leis was in charge of a PWD survey of Tidal Power along the Kimberley coast from King Sound to the Cambridge Gulf. A paper was published by the Institute of Engineers Australia.

I had a portrait assignment at a branch of a bank. I was set up neat the old (decommissioned) vaults. When I was finished I asked for and received permission to take some photos of the vault. What an exceptionally beautiful machine!

More than 300 people dropped off sensitive documents for shredding at Better Business Bureau's Secure Your I-D Day at the Idaho Center and Red Lions Inn in Idaho Falls.

Volunteers helped guide the cars through the parking lots Saturday, where more than 6,000 pounds of paper were dropped.
