The silicone end caps are secured (glue/screwed) to a 1”x8” wood board at holes (~5” diameter) so that the all-glass tubes can slip on and off. A circular donut-shape flange (wood, etc.) secures the silicone caps at the holes in the frame. The inclined (angle B) wood frame has 4 (2”x4”) verticals forming a base at the floor of about a 14 inch x 48 inch rectangle. Reflector (thin anodized aluminum) is glued to wood boards (1x8”) with holes (~5” diam.) and after the glue sets the reflector covering the holes is cut out with a curved chisel. The reflector metal back is scratched to increase glue adhesion area.
A BIETR Air small test facility has 8 all-glass tubes (4.75”od x 1m long). A wood frame about 3.5ft x 8ft has two 1x8” x 8ft boards with 5” diam. Holes; four 2x4”s and eight 2x2” beveled under each tube. A wood stand (about 2x4ft in plan) has four 2x4” verticals.
Comparing standard locally available low cost wood boards 1” thick (actual ¾” thick) x 8” and 10” (actual 7.5” and 9.5”) the 10” boards can have a taller and wider inlet width involute reflector which would effect the number of involutes fitting with standard length boards.

This fenced in area is odd. It's roughly 10 feet square. The fencing is sturdy and topped with barbed wire. It appears that all it's protecting is grass.
