I've been hearing a pair of hawks hunting near home. By the time I got setup they were gond and this subject came out.

I searched the house from top to bottom looking for faces in things but this stapler was the one that fitted the bill best of all.
Illuminated with natural window light whilst propped on a white, gloss floor tile.
Converted to mono in Silver Efex Pro, dust / speck removal in Photoshop. Global tweaks in Lightroom - contrast, blacks and whites pushed to extremes for a graphic effect.

A unit of the Salvamar class (Alusafe 2000) of high speed SAR (search and rescue boats), built for the Spanish state owned Spanish Sociedad de Salvamento y Seguridad Marítima (SASEMAR).
Built in 2008 by Astilleros Armon (Auxiliar Naval del Principado), Puerto de Vega, Asturias, Spain.
Length: 21 metres.
Propulsion: 3 X 1,380 hp MTU or Caterpillar main engines, driving water jets to provide a maximum speed of 38 knots.

The red transparent pieces on the wall are accurate because if there is an emergency aboard the cruiser the will flash red.

I just came back from a trip that I did at the Joshua Tree national park to shoot the milky way, we arrived too early and the milky way did not show up, this was the second time that I was there, so I dig back into the photos that i shot there last week and came up with these photo.
