Tanjung Tinggi Beach have clear blue water, sand, and rocky beaches. It's in Belitung Island close to Sumatera Island ( One of the biggest island in Indonesia ) Takes forty five minutes flight from Jakarta.

Thank you for your faves and wonderful comments.. Have a happy new week !

The vessel, built in 1975, spent its heyday trawling the North Sea for mackerel and herring. Latterly, MV Dayspring had been used as a houseboat berthed at Camusnagaul Bay.

Although now worse for wear, far from its days trawling the North Sea for mackerel and herring, the charm of this once commanding fishing boat is not all lost.

Resting idly on the shingle beach overlooking Loch Linnhe, Dayspring has taken up permanent residency on the Kilmallie shoreline, listing as if reclined, admiring the view.

We spend a brief moment doing likewise, marvelling at the vista across the loch towards Fort William and the majestic Nevis mountain range, before clumsily navigating the rocky foreshore towards the beached trawler.

Better known among locals as the ‘Corpach Wreck’, Dayspring has become an iconic landmark in Lochaber, with photographers from all over the world traipsing along the beach, tripod in hand, each day to capture a dramatic shot.

It has remained a cause of intrigue for locals, too, since it appeared perched on the shorefront one morning after a fierce storm hit the area in December 2011. That night eight years ago was particularly fateful for Lukas, who not only saw his beloved boat washed ashore, but his home too.

Sitting below the high tide line, Dayspring is still classed as being afloat and so does not fall within the remit of the Receiver of Wrecks, despite being land-bound for the best part of a decade. As it is not polluting the area, not posing a hazard and, as Lukas puts it, he is ‘not causing any trouble’, no laws are being broken.

Popped to Aberystwyth today to get new coats ready for Scotland next month, I remembered to bring my camera too ! Lovely about the harbour area, fine weather before todays rain comes in.

I tried seafishing...was fun!

The coble is a type of open traditional fishing boat which developed on the North East coast of England.

The distinctive shape of the boat — flat-bottomed and high-bowed — arose to cope with the particular conditions prevalent in this area. Flat bottoms allowed launching from and landing upon shallow, sandy beaches; an advantage in this part of the coast where the wide bays and inlets provided little shelter from stormy weather. However, fishermen required high bows to sail in the dangerous North Sea and in particular to launch into the surf and to land on the beaches. The design contains relics of Norse influence, though in the main it shows Dutch origin.

The common clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris), also known as the false percula clownfish or ocellaris clownfish, is a marine fish belonging to the family Pomacentridae which includes clownfishes and damselfishes.

Common clownfish are known to grow about 110 mm long.

This species is found in the Eastern Indian Ocean and in the western Pacific Ocean. Common clownfish typically lives in small groups on outer reef slopes or in sheltered lagoons at a maximal depth of 18 meters.

Common clownfish are reliant on sea anemone for shelter (they have a symbiotic relationship with the sea anemone).

Sea anemone are protection for the fish and their nests. This is because when common clownfish are in the open waters, they have a higher risk of predation. It is postulated that the fanning behavior of the fish and removal of parasites promotes the health of sea anemones which contain common clownfish. In addition, the anemone provides protection for the fish with its tentacles, however, the fish’s mucus protection prevents it from being stung by the tentacles. The presence of the clownfish can be interpreted as a lure to attract potential anemone's preys close to the tentacles. And the clownfish can also defend the anemone against some reef fishes which could eat the tentacles

Nothing beats an evening sea-fishing from the beach, especially if you have a fire ready to cook what you catch.

The tomato clownfish (Amphiprion frenatus) is a anemonefish or clownfish, that is found in the waters of the Western Pacific and the South China Sea, from Japan to Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

It is also known as the bridled clownfish, red clownfish, tomato anemonefish and red tomato clown.

The fish is bright orange-red, with a white head bar or vertical stripe just behind the eyes, joined over the head and with a black outline. Females reach a maximum length of 14 cm and are mainly blackish on the sides. Males are considerably smaller and are red overall.

There is a unique closeness between clownfish and their host anemone. The anemone provides a safe haven for the clownfish and in return the clownfish will defend its host by driving off potential predators of the anemone. this is a symbiotic relationship.

They are all born as males and if the female leaves or dies, the largest male would then become the female, and the largest juvenile become to a mature male.

Alle anemoonvisjes worden geboren als man. Alleen de grootste verandert in vrouw. Is het vrouwtje weg of dood dan wordt het dan grootste mannetje vrouw;
