This Scripture Hall (藏经格) is the only feature of the temple that will be preserved. The current residence quarters and kitchen will be demolished. The Hall is approximately two hundred years old (Qing Dynasty) and is in need of major restoration as much of the wood work has been attacked by white ants. The temple scriptures are stored in the attic. A new modern library is being built as part of the restoration.
