If we as Christ followers, could make this our ambition, to not be a spectacle, to mind our own business and while looking hopefully to Christ's return continue in the work and craft he has gifted us with, wouldn't that then speak volumes to the lost? Lord, thank you for the reminders you've given us in your word. Practical, everyday, kindness matters reminders. The model for this photo is my husband. He is a kind, peaceful, keeps to himself, hands on worker. Love that God has equipped him in the ways of woodworking.

Dana time, one of the morning activities at the Maha Bodhi Society of India, Buddhagaya, India.
Yesterday, on November 12, 2007, World Tipitaka Edtion was handed over as a royal gift of Wisdom & Peace to the Genernal Secretary of Maha Bodhi society of India, the first instittue in India to have received from H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana of Thailand, Honorary President of Tipitaka Presentation Worldwide.
The 40-volume Roman-script Pali Tipitaka is enshirned in the newly reinnovated historic building which is now a Temple of Maha Bodhi Society at Buddhagaya.

I like trail mix, however, like most of us...there's typically parts of the mix I don't choose to eat all of because I don't particularly like that portion.

Unfortunately sometimes people treat all or part of God's Word like they do trail mix or other things as they try to pick and choose the parts they like or don't like. They try to throw out, explain away, or make excuses for what God communicates.

This is the wrong way to approach His Word as the whole Bible is God breathed and its not for us to pick, choose, or flat out reject because it's not comfortable to us or we just don't like what God says.

If you're in Christ then you need to accept, apply, teach, live it out, and communicate the entire Bible, period!
_
God has something He wants to teach all of us through every single word He has breathed through the pages of scripture regardless of our opinions or likings.
_
Let me also encourage you that if you are part of a church or so called group of believers who don't teach the entire Bible, you need to find a new church and group of believing friends right away before you're influenced to head down the wrong path with them.

Don't be like the world child of God...don't treat God's Word like trail mix.
