I cut out scripture and words that inspire me and tape them all over my house. This was on the doorframe of my kitchen and it started get a little ragged so my hubby asked it I could take it down. I agreed, but I told him I would replace it with something new. So I took a pic of it before I removed it. I hope it gives you peace like it did for me.
My 6 year old trying to help my five year old read the scriptures. It was such a beautiful moment, I had to capture it. :)
The Kuthodaw Pagoda or Maha Lawka Marazein Paya (Royal Merit Pagoda) was built by King Mindon Min (reigned 1852-1878). He was concerned about the invading British and what their presence in Burma would mean for Buddhist teachings and had the entire 15 books of the Tripitaka, the sacred scriptures of Theravada Buddhism, inscribed in gold on huge marble tablets.

Embedded on the Taj are the arabic scriptures about love and purity. Mumtaz Mahal is what Shahjahan used to call Taj Mahal.
This is a passage from the Book of Mormon that my Dad highlighted before giving this set of scriptures to me. He passed away last May and I found this note written in the margin. I love my Dad, and I miss him a lot.
