My niece wanted this green scripture case for her birthday. I thought it was too plain, so I embroidered her name and designs on it. It now looks much better!
Made with Processing. These are experiments in simple catmull-rom curves aligned in a grid. They remind me of asemic writing and some of Henri Michaux's drawings and paintings.
This was one of the items on sale in the 5-day market at Mine Thauk (Eastern bank of Inle Lake) in Southern Shan State, Myanmar.
The earth is a circle, made with a compass, laid upon a face, it is bounded at its ends, and does not move, it is covered by a dome, containing the sun, moon, and stars, which are circulating.
