A series of random thoughts on the day:
Earlier, Julie tried to give me notes, but I was not in a condition to hear it... We've rescheduled for later in the week, when my insecurities will perhaps have subsided. I hate being a writer.
I'm perpetually nervous about the election. I click on fivethirtyeight.com and cnn and msnbc like an addict looking for a fix.
Tonight, I was thinking about going to see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, but wasn't sure. I waited too long, and was suddenly overwhelmed with the need to see something, anything. But Sunday night is not kind to movie-goers. Fortunately, there was a 10:55 show of The Express. It was 10:48.
Current facebook status: "Joe had the sudden intense need to see a movie twelve minutes ago. Now sitting in a theater with a hotdog. He loves New York."
Yes he does.
While visiting Maui for a friend's wedding I had to take the mandatory "Script Ohio" in the sand picture. The bridesmaids from Texas didn't get it.
