they're all here...in one place...this was like a dream come true. now if only they could have figured out how to have Fred and Barney and Jabberjaw and Goober on a regular basis, the show would have been spectacular

Yep...according to my sources, the HB brand is most likely going to make a comeback at the Kings Island group of amusement parks that include Kings's Dominion, Canada's Wonderland and Great America. you may know that Paramount took them over many years ago and the company that oversees the parks is dissatisfied with them. looks like Nick Toons is going to go away in favor of bringing back the characters that started these parks off to begin with. Hey Kerry, looks like a trip down to San Jose will be in order when this goes through, to visit Great America! Here is a vintage Snagglepuss from King Islands heyday

Velma - Scooby Doo @eeloftheworld

I just won this on ebay and received it today. it is a beautiful pic of the clan. what is important here is the off model versions of wilma, betty and Pebbles. even Fred is somewhat off model. what that means is that an artist drew these characters in their own style without relying on every aspect of the model sheet to create a version of the family that is an exact match for show products and etc. Wilma especially, i have never seen in that pose in all my life of collecting. it's a great piece and i am really glad i got it.

Beautiful viewmaster slides from the amazing works that brought the Flintstones to life in awesome 3D

These are from different sets by the way...one which was basically the Flintstone Flyer, the other from Teaching Wilma to Drive and another i am not sure of...the Betty Rubble one.

selection of superb artwork done by brilliant street artists

Animatronic show for the visitors of one of the Bedrock City locations in the midwest, of which i believe to be 3. in in Arizona, the original, one in North Dakota, which i think is where this is from and i think there is one more. help me out peeps.

Found this at Wal-Mart. Wish i new of a way to know if there are more. But...go to the store and see if you can find it. Fred and Wilma on the front are on a spring so they "dance" as you take it out of the envelope!

No question this was the best gift in my house this Christmas... Even beats the Wii!

This is the infamous poster pulled out of the tube by Mike Brady of the BRADY BUNCH on the episode at Kings Island. also famous for when Greg dressed up in the Hair Bear Costume.

This is the front display on Main Street of a haberdashery in Kentucky's Casey County, which during the Civil War overwhelmingly supported the Union to fight the Confederacy, The shop now scintillates customers with a taste of rebellion. The Confederate battle flag of Northern Virginia flies larger than the stars and stripes. During the Civil War the way pro-Union town of Liberty gave dearly to stop states from ceding from the United States.

The Kentucky Encyclopedia, edited by John Kleber, records tiny Liberty's great support of the Union: "Casey is credited with producing one-third of the 1st Kentucky Cavalry, recruited by Col. Frank Wolford and Col. Silas Adams, to serve in the Union army. "

With the winning of the War, Kentucky would culturally assimilate itself again into Southern culture and the myth of the Lost Cause would gain ground in the rural setting that originally would have little to do with it.

I went into this haberdashery and asked what were these two flags, particularly the single star and seven bars. The general manager said she did not know but that the store owner had left a note regarding the display of the flags. "South Carolina" is all it said.

"What does that mean," I asked.

"I don't know," replied the store manager.

Looking back, I suspect that it doesn't refer to the flag with seven bars being South Carolinian but rather to the owner's motivation for displaying the Confederate flag. For you see, South Carolina's lawmakers ruled to take down the Confederate flag from their capitol grounds last July, which sparked a backlash. Since then, I've seen a lot of Confederate flags flying in parts of Kentucky that back in the Civil War days were way pro-Union.
