If you stand in an exact spot in front of the dish, you are able to hear many sounds from par, par away in the square. Also, your voice is projected very well. It was all very exciting for about five minutes.

FOX 26 Chief Meteorologist, Dr. Jim Siebert, performed a wild n' wacky weather demo at the Children's Museum of Houston, on April 12, as part of CMH's latest weather exhibit, the Magic School Busâ„¢ Kicks up a Storm (opened through May 11, 2008). He was assisted by CMH educator, Keith Ostfeld.

We have been learning about energy in grade 4 science and I have to admit that I am learning as much as the students (a day or two ahead of them). The depth of my ignorance about elementary school science is stunning. I must slept through grade school.

The 'Portaloo of death' lifting off for the ITV/Sky tv show 'Brainiac' in 2007. The toilet weighed about 400lbs/200kg and was powered by an 'O' class cluster of a core M1939W, four K660 Classics and about 8 'I's. It reached about 800ft before going 'somewhat squirrelly' and landing in a lovely tail-slide.

Chuck's putting together a Geek Prom video, but especially looking for footage regarding the geek-streak/pepper spray incident. If you have anything, please email it to him. I'll post a link later to his finished product.

Both kids got science sets this year and were very excited about them. Clark's is a proper chemistry set.

This was the chemistry experiment we did in place of a unity candle.

The only sane thing to do with a Fiat Panda.

Another Brainiac series 5 stunt... this used seven I800 V-max in a block bolted to the door of the car to 'flip' it onto it's roof. It actually rolled three times before coming to rest on it's side :-)
