The New York City Department of Transportation's Urban Art Program, New York Cares and the Mayor's Community Affairs Unit organized two Barrier Beautification painting events in conjunction with New York Cares Service Day on Saturday, October 19, 2013. The Urban Art Program is collaborating for the first time with a current student at FIT as part of the Barrier Beautification program. Brooklyn-based artist Brittany Falussy joined volunteers to beautify 200 feet of concrete barriers along Bruckner Boulevard and Gerard Avenue in the Bronx.
The illustrative design "Sight Scene" depicts different colored heads wearing various eye glasses. The design is inspired by the artists many trips on the subway and seeing no only all different types of people, but all different types of eye ware.

I took this 'snapshot' whist at work with a colleague just before Christmas ........ once a month we have to take electricity meter readings for our local water authority, which means visiting their pumping stations.... of which are mostly down little country lanes in the Kent countryside. For safety reasons we decided to make it a two-person job, so if we got stuck in the snow at least he'd have someone to talk to ..........lol...........
this is the control photo for the Agfa Ortho test shot (www.flickr.com/photos/erikdrost/16479261238/). Shot on Fomapan 200, but developed in the same batch of Rodinal that had already seen 4 sheets of Agfa Ortho, so it came out rather thin.
Resolution is much lower than in the Agfa film, very noticeable at 1:1 when you look at the radiator.
Also, some distortion on the sides tells me that f/11 is not enough for my Angulon 90/6.8. I think it works much better at f/16-f/22.
Exposure was 30 seconds @ f/11

If anyone is wondering about my My Scene boy head, he finally grew rock hard as well so I can safely say he’s finished in shrinking as well. There was a definite drastic difference than my other attempt at shrinking the MS head in polish remover especially in the dome of his scalp. Though comparatively his jaw is similar in size to his original size though the overal face shape had changed.
He’s roughly the same size as a Ken head and much smaller than my Disney Store Kristoff head despite the face that Kristoff has a smaller head than an original MS head.
His neck had already been reamed out by Andrea to fit a Fashionista body before soaking in acetone and surprisingly his head still fits on the body despite drastically shrinking in size.
I plan to give him sculpted hair and a face up to look similar to a Japanese vintage GI Joe so wish me luck.
