Here's what the capture software looks like as it is scanning. This software comes bundled with the Plustek Opticbook Pro. I really hated it initially, because it is not as adjustable as the Epson software but now I am used to working with it and any inconsistencies can be adjusted in post-production (generally Photoshop).
Applied a filter in photoshop of the scanner6 photo. It didn't work real well, as the background color faded and the dust showed up more! I probably won't fix it up, though I did like the outlines on the berries and peppers.
Actually, new scanner, printer and photo printer.
As you may have heard the last one wouldn't co-operate after I tried to change the ink cartridges and a new set costs nearly as much as a printer. So here we have another new printer. And naturally I have to try out the scanner too.
Want to know something? I'm missing doing a 365. I know I have Barney's still (and haven't done one of him today) but it's not the same :(
Canon printer, scanner, copy, fax. Just needs ink and was fully working last time I used it.
