i built myself a new scanner using this guide:

works like a charm, alot faster than my mediax workscan and you don’t have to bother with that stupid scanner software anymore.
I wanted to have a board made by a fab house with a silk screen and look nice so I made a simple larson scanner. I used the Dorkbot PDX PCB order
After having a weird image from the scanner going off while cleaning it, I instinctively hit 'scan' to try and save it, but of course there was nothing on the scanner bed and it was still open, so I got up and glanced at the bed while it was saving the scan, and it got my face...cool eh?

Em 1646, a piedosa senhora D. Maria Jácome de Mello doou uma área de terras para que ali fosse construída uma capela dedicada a N. Sra. dos Remédios.Foi ao redor desta capela que se formou o povoado de Paraty. Assim, surgiu de pedra e cal a primeira capela, que foi demolida em 1668 para dar lugar a uma Igreja maior, que só foi terminada em 1712.
Porém, em 1787, esta Igreja já era pequena para abrigar todos os fiéis de Paraty, por isso iniciou-se a construção de uma nova Igreja maior e mais suntuosa. A 7 de setembro de 1873, a nova Igreja foi entregue ao culto público, sendo precedida a bênção por uma procissão da Igreja de Santa Rita para a Igreja de N. Sra. dos Remédios, fato que é repetido anualmente na Festa da Padroeira.
Destacam-se na construção de estilo neoclássico, as torres inacabadas e o fundo da Igreja sem terminar.

here is the reason we are in san diego. greg and a bunch of the scanner darkly annimators came cuz they were on a panel at comic con. here they are with the philip k. dick robot too. they showed a trailer of the movie. lots of excitement about it.

It's a camera that doesn't get respect but has a strong cult following. While Miranda cameras aren't known for their quality, they have a cult following. The Sensorex is a 1960s SLR that is the makings of a system camera. And well-loved optics by those who use them, and the ability to swap out the finder and maintain metering. The Sensorex might not be the best camera out there, but it can be a lot of fun.
