Troop 80 Trail was built in 1931 by the Ingleside San Francisco Boy Scout Troop and later spruced up by the TCC (Tamalpais Conservation Club). It runs through pristine stands of ancient redwoods, crosses several cascading streams and occasionally breaks into open areas of chaparral.

The watershed north of Mount Tamalpais fills a series of reservoirs, constructed in the 1930s, during the rainy season. Trailheads lead into a network of paths accessing a hundred square kilometers of interlinked county, state and federal protected parklands.

Some more 4x5 tests using my old Polaroid Model 150 Roll Film Camera. Kodak Royal-X Pan 4166 (expired 6/1986) shot at about ISO 100.
I'm still having some troubles with the old Fink-Roselieve FR cut-film-pack developing tank. At first I thought I wasn't using enough liquid, but now, with plenty of liquid I'm still getting some odd dark areas of the negative near the top of the tank and I'm wondering if it's possible light leek? Hard to figure out. (I'll post some pix of the negs themselves soon.)

One of the first films that I re-scanned when I got the G4050 (just like my crummy G4010 except for a real 4x5 film holder template and a Full Width transparency adapter). However, that scan has lingered until now. It has been the recipient of my new (old) DonzRGBActions C-Neg based negative conversion process. Plus a little extra post processing loving in the style of the previous riff linked below.

Near San Agustin, Colombia a pre Incan culture left many carved statues in and near their tombs and sacred places. Many of the statues depict a rather blood thirsty deity. An hour walk from town brings one to a site of excavated tombs and a display of statues and statuettes in a forest reserve trail.
