Walking the streets of Trinidad, Cuba, before sunrise is always an adventure. On this morning, I came upon this open doorway revealing portraits of revolutionaries, Che Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos, beneath a portrait of Jesus Christ. iPhone 6+ native camera, SnapSeed.
A children crying in her mothers arm during Ashura procession. Perhaps he was scared seeing the sea of people. But in time he will be one of them. One day he will lead the processions. He will bleed himself in the memory of his Hossain.

Hedgehog rescued by my daughter, it was crossing the street when we drove by.
We stopped and my daughter used the sleeves of her coat to carry the hedgehog to a safe place far away from traffic.
She still finds it hard to smile since she has metal braces on her teeth, but she finally agreed posting her picture.
Have a great week!
In 1964, Outfit mobsters Paul "Peanuts" Pancsko, Joseph D'Argento, Michael LaJoy, Frank DeLegge, and Frank Cullotta held up a Brink's truck as it made a pick-up of the weekly collection of Divine Savior Church on the outskirts of Chicago.
One of them approached the rectory wearing a hat like a Brink's guard. Rev. Walter Morris, seeing him through a slit in the door, let him in. Three crooks rushed the building then bound and gagged him to a chair. When Rev. Richard Burke entered looking for him he was also bound and seated on the floor. After the Brink's truck arrived, they also grabbed the actual guard and handcuffed him to Father Burke.
Mike LaJoy wore the guard's hat and went outside, posing as the 2nd guard with a money bag over his shoulder. He knocked on the door of the two-man vehicle. Gerald Tomasczek was across the street with a rifle, ready to fire on the Brink's truck if the guard didn't open the door. When the guard opened it they seized him as well and transferred the truck money into a car.
They took $366,000 total. Frank Cullotta hid the loot in a a hollow wall in his basement before splitting it with the gang.

Defenseless
A poem by Katie Gabrielle
Sweet child
Of the Streets Of Greece
Will Your Savior Give You Peace
Will You Wander
To And Fro
Sweet Baby Kitty
Where will you Go?
Backed in a Corner
Defenseless
Eyes full of fear
And Woe
Don't forget who loves you
There are little angels
For kitties and little wanders
Protecting You from danger
Look into my eyes, kind stranger
Help me make it through today
And maybe I can find tomorrow
Without tears, fear or sorrow.
Find a home for me
Away from the streets of Greece
Lost in the darkness
Help me find the light of day
Defenseless in every way...
