Another wintry shot at South Mountain. This time across the road from Campbell's Pond.

Obviously, my friend missed the announcement.

Giovanna's was a staple of Plainfield dining for years. Now with a proposed Wawa on the way, Giovanna's closed up shop. This is what's left.

A supermarket chain has begun rationing soup and bread (in addition to already scarce toilet paper, sanitizers, etc.).

Dogwood 52 Week Photography Challenge - Week 17 Landscape - Urbanscape. The week 17 challenge was as follows: Most Landscapes are wide open spaces of natural beauty… this week find the beauty of the urbanscape/cityscape.

Unfortunately I have been extremely time poor over the past few weeks due to focusing my attentions on a number of personal life events. As a result I have to take the opportunity to capture images where and when I can with whatever means I have.

In this case I captured this image with my mobile phone on the way to work. It's quite grainy and low quality but I love this view of Melbourne, especially with a golden Autumn sunrise.

Of course this winterwonderland is very nice to look at, nonetheless I really hope that this winter is going to end soon.

I was on my way to work this morning. It was foggy in the area when I passed a local country club. I isolated this tree from a cluster it was a part of.

Paul-Loebe-Haus in Berlin. The picture was taken in RAW with the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. Black and white conversion in Lightroom. The phone of course is not a full-frame DSLR but the result is better than I thought.

Dogwood 52 Week Photography Challenge. The Week 30 Challenge is Artistic: Patterns. Get inspired by the rhythm that patterns bring to your images.

Due to work commitments the shot for this week was a rushed one. The work load of a new job is really not allowing me to get out and shoot as much as I'd like. I'm sure it will settle in time and improve with the weather and longer days.

During a rushed bout of shopping after work, I grabbed a quick shot with my phone at the Intercontinental at the Rialto Towers in Melbourne. Whilst the quality of the image is not great, it is literally filled with an amazing collection of patterns.

I can't wait to go back with my DSLR and capture some far better quality images......if they let me. Lots of suspect looks whilst I captured this one.

The Week 31 Challenge is as follows: Portrait: Street Candid Candids on the street, show us life in your town through the lens.
