a second shot from the bavarian meet-up & the little b/w series i did there. meeting charly and sam was kind of enrichment for my perception of several fundamental things such as nudity or the way you are with yourself and with a group. i don't know, both kind of really made me want to listen, made me want to find out what they mean when they say something because i haven't met such twisted minds in a long time. when we had a little shooting under charly's direction ( to be seen at ESPRIT CONFUS ) together it seemed as though the two had known each other ever since childhood, and their tender and playful yet loving and careful attitude towards each other let this conviction arise inside of me; some time this year i'll pass through the door of their apartment and dive into their life. i'm so grateful i got to take this photo. i'm just looking forward to seeing these two wonderful personalities so very soon.
I made this for the Phat Quarter comic swap. Sam & Max is the only comic I've ever read, so I gave the antique treatment to a quote from Max, the adorable homicidal bunny.
Kayce loves her older brother. Sam wont admit it, but he loves her too!
Both Sam and Kayce will be participating in the Oregon Humane Society Doggie Dash this May.

This panoramic shot was taken along the Sam Knob Trail in the Pisgah National forest, NC (near the Shining Rock Wilderness). The valley on the left is to the south, where the West Fork Pigeon River flows. The trail proceeds from west to east until Black Balsam Knob is reached. There was a very small (albeit visible) break in the continuous fog, and I couldn't pass up this opportunity. The trail itself (and the Art Loeb Trail, once Black Balsam Knob is reached), provides many stunning views such as this due to a large fire in the early 1900's which destroyed the topsoil in the area. This particular shot is 12 individual pictures fused in Photoshop using the Photomerge feature.
