100 Strangers Project, No:2

This is Sam, born in Pakistan, moved to Kenya at the request of the British Government, and worked as a Water Engineer running projects in Nairobi and Nanuki.

In 1970, post independence, he decided he needed a rest and moved to the UK, having family here who could care for him. That was 39 years ago, he reckons he's had a bit of a rest now.

He drinks a bit, still smokes, and has friends all over.
