Tuesday was Blade Runner night. I was Zhora Salome but my costume was altered to hide the fact that I'm no Joanna Cassidy - lol - but I try! : )
This panoramic shot was taken along the Sam Knob Trail in the Pisgah National forest, NC (near the Shining Rock Wilderness). The valley on the left is to the south, where the West Fork Pigeon River flows. The trail proceeds from west to east until Black Balsam Knob is reached. There was a very small (albeit visible) break in the continuous fog, and I couldn't pass up this opportunity. The trail itself (and the Art Loeb Trail, once Black Balsam Knob is reached), provides many stunning views such as this due to a large fire in the early 1900's which destroyed the topsoil in the area. This particular shot is 12 individual pictures fused in Photoshop using the Photomerge feature.
This water kong is one of sam's favourite toys - he's had it for several years, although the rubber is starting to decay and the floaty thing only lasted a few minutes :)
Sam is such a great model, she is not shy at all and knows exactly how to pose. This is one of my faves of our shoot today, I took 50 shots in less than 10 minutes. it was one of the cleanest looking shoots I have done in a while.
