Bom dia!

About two years ago, I said in my then last shot of Datai Bay (Andaman Sea, Straits of Malacca, Malaysia) that it was hard to leave the Bay, in being such a calm, beautiful place; with also the plus of both an ancient rainforest and a world top 10 beach (National Geographic).

I suggested that maybe I’d return the following year. Well it took two years and here I am again, at the same resort and loving it again already; although more overcast and rainy than before, making this shot look very blue also due to the late afternoon.

Aside from being a beautiful place, the resort has a commitment to environmental sustainability involving complete recycling of waste, no single use plastic, wildlife totally protected, which is all another attraction for me in being in environmental consulting.

The shot posted above "Return to Datai Bay", will naturally be followed by a few photos. With beach views looking across the Andaman Sea at the idyllic islands of Tarutao National Park, Thailand, established in 1974, and comprised of 51 outstanding forested islands and coral reefs.

The southernmost end of the Thai park lies on the border with Malaysia, just north of Malaysia's Langkawi island, where this photo was shot from Datai Bay. It offers yet another beautiful nature place to visit in this tropical part of the world.

Gannet Week Day 2: Part of a gannet's courtship ritual is for the male to give a "gift." When the female accepts the gift the two become mates for life. Here we see our hero closing the deal on a lifetime of birdy bliss. "With this seaweed I thee wed." "You may now peck the bride." "May I introduce you all to you the happy couple - Mr. Waldo Gannet and Mrs. Grace Gannet."

Before you know we´ll be out of this dark woods, where the butterflies dance!

Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said is a futuristic novel written by Philip K. Dick in 1974. It depicts the US as a police state after a second civil war. It was set in 1988, so I guess we got a reprieve...

This is Molly, a long ago morning. When Mary saw this photo, she said, if there's an afterlife for dogs, she hopes this is what Molly's doing. Before the onset of arthritis, this was her happy place, nearly every day -- running, swimming, wading looking for fish. Hundreds and hundreds of hours she spent on that beach. And on her final day, with a large, bleeding tumor inside, when she no longer desired food or drink, she still found some pleasure on the beach. She died with salt water in her fur and sand in her paws.

Humberheads Peatlands National Nature Reserve, near Wroot, North Lincolnshire. Whilst the peatlands and pools are a feature of the reserve there is a lot of Silver Birch woodland. I was on my way into the reserve when the edge caught my attention...the striking white bark against the darker background. It's a blue hour photo, I waited for the sun to rise over my shoulder in the hope of more colour but it rose into a cloud. That said I like the cooler colour and abstract nature of the photo.

7 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)

----------------------------- JESUS ✝️ SAVES-------------------------------

SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST - ALONE!

12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️

16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the SALVATION of everyone WHO BELIEVES: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel a RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD IS REVEALED, a righteousness that is by FAITH FROM FIRST TO LAST, just as it is written: "THE RIGHTEOUS WILL LIVE BY FAITH." (Romans 1:16-17)

16 KNOW that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH in CHRIST and NOT by observing the law, BECAUSE BY OBSERVING THE LAW NO ONE WILL BE JUSTIFIED. (Galatians 2:16)

1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)

7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)

1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!

So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

On The Mesa. It cost $20 to use your camera.

This pueblo is the oldest inhabited settlement in the entire United States. It is said that the pueblo was standing in l539 and perhaps years before.

There are very few Acoma Indians living today on top of the mesa as most live in the village of Acoma fifteen miles away. The Acoma Indians of today are very educated and live with their native traditions, still make their native crafts and some speak the language of the Acoma people

It's hardest to love the ordinary things, she said, but you get lots of opportunities to practice.

I'm grateful for the beauty the ordinary things bring to my life :)

Katjenka said: "Show me a picture has particularly moved you on, a picture touches you from the bottom of your heart up to this night." I did it, and showed her this one from this year. "Now out with it!", these are her words.

It is from the days after the ascension, in a place of small pilgrimages. There were three of us and we ´ve had a good time. Yes, the weather wasn´ t our friend and played its own role. But there were things are much more important. May those times never be in question.

For the freaks: main thing was ColasRail BR232-408 owned by Skinest Rail A.S. and on left ID´s BR232-502 was still waiting for keep up her(!) load by / out of the yard.

Like I said, I can’t help it, I see something in everything?

The gorgeous pink tulips had their week of splendour, the petals drying and then… falling, except for a few, hanging on for dear life, the stamens emptying of pollen.

It looked like they all wanted the LAST DANCE? lol

Take care, be safe!

Have a good day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

(I met a famous poet/photographer while in portland)

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, said the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts”(Isaiah 55:8-9).

Listen to this hymn of God’s word, "Notions and Imagination Will Never Help You Know God", to learn how to put down your notions and imagination toward God.

Almighty God says, “Knowing God is not reliant on experience or imagination, and therefore you must never impose your experience or imagination on God; no matter how rich your experience and imagination may be, they are still limited. What is more, your imagination does not correspond to facts, and much less to the truth, and it is incompatible with God’s true disposition and substance. You will never succeed if you rely on your imagination to understand God’s substance. The only path is this: Accept all that comes from God, then gradually experience and understand it. There will be a day when God will enlighten you to truly understand and know Him because of your cooperation and because of your hunger and thirst for the truth. ” from “God Himself, the Unique II God’s Righteous Disposition” in The Word Appears in the Flesh

Sometime last year I said to a friend "when I retire I want to go out with a tent on my bike." No, I am not retired yet, but the friend was so enthusiastic that I went "test camping" last night. I was allowed to use his tent and cooking equipment. I just had to plan a night. And then yesterday came, I had a day off for an event that unfortunately couldn't happen for me. And then I came up with a plan, I'm going to the campsite A spot is easily booked these days and that's how I went about it yesterday.

Cycling took some getting used to. Okay, it was less than fifteen minutes of cycling so what is it about. I stopped by to say hello to a friend. Hardly anyone knew that yesterday was THE day. Everything else went as if I had never done anything else. When the tent was up I went for an ice cream and after dinner I also went for a walk. I only had to heat up the food. This morning the neighbor gave me a compliment that the tent was nice and tight. No matter how beautiful the tent looked, it had to be taken down and packed up again. It was a 1 night experiment. Very successful experiment.

(translated by google translate)

Fietsen was wennen. Zeer geslaagd experiment.

Selling in the East Village on Christmas Eve 2020 and there's hardly anyone around. When my friend said Manhattan was deserted, he wasn't kidding.

"You're back then?" said the fly "We flies thought we were going to get some peace and quiet now that you were spending your time with that spotted monstrosity". I was taken aback, spotted monstrosity, surely they couldn't be talking about the beautiful and talented Arthur. "Do you mean Arthur", I said "the ladybird that I've been taking pictures of". "Yeah - that's him, evil monster, Arthur the assassinator is his real name, you know", the fly started rubbing his hands together with glee. "That thing eats 5000 of our little cousins, the aphids, every year of its life". I had never thought of it like that. "Aphids are pests though" I retorted "they damage plants!". "You mean they eat to try and survive", answered the fly, "anyway - you're a human, you can talk about who is the real pest on this planet, it was perfect before you lot came along". The fly then flew off, looking for some waste product to dispose of, or some dead and rotting animal to return back to the food chain.

Sidi Bou Said, Tunisie

"Skye!!!????" she said

"Yes, I told you". OK. perhaps she wasn't fully awake when I told her at 0330 in the morning.

It was now after 1000 and I was on my way down from the Old Man of Storr. "How long will it take you to get back?" she asked.

"About 4 hours" was the answer. it was going to have to be a long day. By the time I had been to the Fairy Pools I would spend around 9 hours driving that day.

I was under pressure for time. No time for tripods and long exposures. I had to make do with a handheld stitched pano. The Bridge at Sligachan. Another Thomas Telford creation built around 1810 and still standing
