My shinto road safety amulet.

the troops of the importance of maintaining readiness without compromising
safety.
My old rope was about five years old, and despite being in relatively good shape, it was time for a new cord. I cut six feet off the old one and will use it for top roping.
I picked up the new Maxim Glider in a 70 meter. At 9.9 mm it's fatter than my old trusty Beal Booster 9.6 mm, but the sheath seems super slick and supple. Can't wait to try it out. I also bought a 70 meter for the first time after my 60 meter didn't make it to a rappel anchor in red rocks.
Who wants to go jump off a cliff to see if it works?
