Ft. Buchanan, PR- In an effort for preventing heat injuries during the hot
summer days, the 1st Mission Support Command (1stMSC) produced a short
safety message where the 1st MSC Command Sergeant Major, Rene Rivera, alerts
the troops of the importance of maintaining readiness without compromising
safety.

Battling the swell on the Kapiti Coast in our cut-price inflatable dingy from Pak'n'Save. It served us well in its second outing. The sea was so shallow that we were able to walk 50m offshore and still only be in chest deep. The dead stingray on the beach didn't help our nerves tho.
Cory the Audio Guy straps back on his helmet for the return trip. Yes, I rode with him even though he's wearing an Iowa shirt.
Just as Dave was getting ready to shoot his gun, Matt was putting his hands over his eyes. Hmmm, a good way to ruin your concentration and totally miss the shot.
At Shildon Railway Museum I noticed the rubber strips laid into the gaps beside the rails. Perfect for reducing the debris that accumulates, and for preventing bicycle tyres from slipping in. Just the thing for Edinburgh.
Of course, Shildon has no bicycle parking, unless you ask nicely in the small visitor museum on the way in.
