The annual Cullman Safe Kids Expo takes place at Sportsman Lake Park from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 16. This event is free for children up to 12 years of age. Along with fishing, there will be paddle boats, miniature golf, moonwalks, super slide, snow cones, popcorn, and soft drinks for all children at no charge.
Several services vehicles will be present from the American Red Cross, Cullman County Sheriff’s office, Cullman EMS, Cullman Fire Rescue, and Cullman Police Department.
The event, hosted by Brooks Place, is held each year in conjunction with Child Abuse Awareness month to raise awareness about child abuse and crime victims advocacy.

After one day of walking round Kraków in the rain getting very wet, I decided my primary concern the next day, as the rain continued, was staying indoors. In the morning I achieved this with some shopping in the Cloth Hall and a trip inside the St Mary's Basilica (which is the main church on the square - the uneven towers that appear in both my photos of the horse-drawn carriages so far).

In partnership with the Embassy of Belgium, the Embassies of Luxembourg, the Embassy of the Netherlands, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), UN Women is organizing an event named “A Safe Journey with Her” on Saturday at Museum Siam on 26 November 2022.
It aims to sensitise the Thai public to the important issue of gender-based violence and to ensure that women and girls can live up to their full potential. The event is part of the global 16-Days Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence.
