JOHN PICKHAVER from Cornwall was called to a shop to investigate problems with the hot water supply, where he found the water heater had been installed on a staircase landing. The stairs led to an attic room that – at least since the heater had been installed – was only being used for storage. Steps taken were to ensure the door was sealed up and the attic room made accessible via another route. Also, the blow-off pipework was reconfigured correctly.

The Boat Deck - Sustainable Fish and Chips on South Parade Pier
This photo was taken today, 4th Feb 2015 at lunchtime. It was so cold the seafront was virtually deserted even though it looked like a summers day with the bright clear lighting.
Built in 1875 and currently closed and undergoing major refurbishment and repair by the new owners to make it safe.
South Parade Pier was very badly damaged by fire during the filming of the Who's Rock Opera "Tommy" back in the 70's.
The pier is currently too dangerous to walk on owing to rust and decay.

Built over 170 years ago, the Old State Bank in Decatur stands today as a reminder of Decatur's rich history. Completed in 1833, the building originally housed the Tennessee Valley branch of the Bank of the State of Alabama. After the failure of the state bank, it saw many varied uses and even survived the burning of Decatur during the Civil War.

Louise participated in Gloversville’s first held “Safe Night Out”. This event, sponsored by the Gloversville Police Department, provided a terrific venue for the community and law enforcement to come together and get to know one another in a friendly and fun-filled atmosphere.
Assistant DA Kelli McCoski graciously volunteered her time and dry clothes to sit in the dunking booth.
Thanks, Kelli!
