I've been using this safe for the past couple of years without trouble, but yesterday its locking mechanism ran out of battery power (stored internally) which left me in a tricky situation. Having lost the emergency manual override key long ago and attempted unsuccessfully to pick the seven pin tubular lock, the only solution was an attack of brute force!

On 11-18-09 Los Angeles Fire Department quickly responded to Mulholland Drive just West of Skyline Drive shortly after 2PM, where a vehicle went 50’ down a cliff. Firefighters came to aid of an adult female trapped inside. Walking around Victoria's Chinatown yesterday, I stumbled across this antique safe at the end of an alley. What a lucky find, this is definitely off the beaten path.

I setup my tripod at its 2nd lowest setting and zoomed my 28-300mm lens to 50mm, using Live View to level my camera and set the composition where I wanted it. To maximize sharpness, I set my usual 2 second exposure delay, and triggered the shutter with my infrared remote.

Nikon D600 and Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens at 50mm, 0.8 seconds at f/7.1, ISO 200. Exposure and clarity adjusted in Lightoom 4.

More elementary students are safer at school with the completion of the seismic replacement of Bayview Community Elementary.

The new, safer Bayview Community Elementary includes a neighbourhood learning centre that provides before-and-after-school care to families in the area. The school was built to the latest seismic standards and includes innovative, low-carbon mass timber as a main building material.

Ostend, the industrial harbour, a favourite haunt!

We are back and on the hunt for images.

The gentleman stops and starts chatting... mainly about his cutie pie in the back, safe, and loving the ride!

On the Continent, the electrical bicycles are very well appreciated by the more mature population.

He pushed off again, his eyes were closed, I noticed he did that a lot, like up-calling the images? LOL
