We had a decent dumping of snow overnight and throughout the morning, leaving the squirrels with no choice but to dig for the seeds they threw on the ground yesterday.

Even Dragons sometimes need a safe haven. Tofu hid under the garden table as soon as he realized that I intended to mow the lawn. Sorry Tofu, I know that you hate the lawn mower but after the recent rain the grass was really too long.
I have discovered that photographing a mountain is not an easy task. There are so many possible angles and timeframes in which to take a shot that it can be overwhelming. For someone like me who lives in central Texas, quick access to a mountain range is not an option. So, when I do get to visit the mountains, it's an absolute rush! I question if I'm close enough, or should I drive a little further down the road, am I safe getting out of the car on the shoulder, is the lighting right, and on and on. I have a whole new respect for all of you who live nearby the mountains and photograph these breathtaking formations. I applaud you!

Having to watch for your life midst the dangers of this Alligator ridden Pond a Snail finds a place of repose and safety away from the plentious and razor sharp teeth of this Alligator LOL .. Seems as if the Alligator could do with a little dental work
